CENTENNIAL PRO WRESTLING THREE’S A CROWD 05-06-23 MASSARI ARENA PUEBLO, CO
Baron Von Raschke, ‘Sodbuster’ Kenny Jay & The Crusher vs. Ox Baker & Long Riders (‘Wild’ Bill & Scott ‘Hog’ Irwin) The Long Riders isolated Crusher initially, but Crusher tagged in Jay. Scott overwhelmed Jay and pinned him after a SUPERPLEX in what turned into a fairly quick opening contest.
Konnan, Juventud Guerrera & Super Crazy vs. Larry Zbyszko & Original Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey & Randy Rose) w/ Dark Menace The action was fast and furious in the beginning with both teams executing multiple tags. As the match settled in, Crazy got isolated in his opponents' corner, where they worked him over until Rose made the pin following a DOUBLE CLOTHESLINE.
CPW Heavyweight Champion Big Van Vader & CPW Tag Team Champions Ted DiBiase & Steve ‘Dr. Death’ Williams vs. Angelo Mosca & Love Brothers (‘Horrible’ Hartford & ‘Rotten’ Reginald) DiBiase suffered a beat down early in the match as opponents cut off the ring and executed multiple tags, inflicting quite a bit of damage. DiBiase ultimately tagged in Williams and the complexion of the match changed drastically. Williams and Vader exchanged tags while DiBiase recovered. The end came when Williams and DiBiase delivered a double football tackle to Reginald and Williams made the pin.
Post match: All three champions celebrated their victory when Mosca attacked Vader from behind with a chain. The Love Brothers brawled with DiBiase and Williams as Mosca lashed Vader with the chain before wrapping it around his neck. Mosca attempted to drag Vader around the ring by the chain. As DiBiase and Williams brawled to the back with the Love Brothers, Don Leo Jonathan hit the ring and nailed Mosca. Mosca bailed out of the ring as Jonathan aided Vader in removing the chain. Vader was having difficulty breathing as he was tended to by medical staff and helped to the back.
Blackjack Mulligan, Scott Casey & Chaz Taylor vs. Stan Hansen & Dirty Desperados (Dutch & Johnny Mantell) Hansen and Mulligan started the match and the action almost immediately ended up outside the ring. Both men brawled and when the action returned to the ring, Hansen blasted Mulligan with a LARIAT and made the pin before anyone knew what happened.
Post match: Johnny Mantell blasted Blackjack Mulligan in the back of the head with the bell on Hansen's bull rope. Johnny and Dutch Mantell then briefly put the boots to Mulligan before Scott Casey and Chaz Taylor ran them off. Hansen looked irritated as he snatched his bull rope from Johnny and stormed to the back, quickly followed by the Mantells.
CPW WOMEN’S TITLE MATCH Melina vs. CPW Women’s Champion Mercedes Martinez This match started out fast and maintained the pace throughout. Both ladies brawled back and forth, exchanging several high impact moves. Melina proved her mettle time and again throughout the match as she managed to survive two FISHERMAN'S BUSTERS. Melina battled back one final time, but Martinez had just a little more left in the tank and delivered one final FISHERMAN'S BUSTER to end the match.
Ox Baker & Long Riders (‘Wild’ Bill & Scott ‘Hog’ Irwin) vs. Larry Zbyszko & Original Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey & Randy Rose) w/ Dark Menace Zbyszko starts complaining about Baker to the official even before the match started. It looked like Baker and Zybszko were going to start out the match, much to the delight of the crowd, but Zbyszko tagged out before even locking up. Condrey ultimately started out against Baker. The action went back and forth as both teams executed multiple tags. Zbyszko eventually tagged in, but only when Baker wasn't the legal man. Zbyszko then isolated Scott in his corner and removed the turnbuckle pad. Zbyszko smashed Scott's head into the exposed turnbuckle then tossed Scott out of the ring, where Zbyszko slammed him through a table. The action returned to the ring, where Zbyszko whipped Scott into the exposed turnbuckle then locked in a Boston Crab. Scott didn't last long before submitting as Condry & Rose cut off Bill and Baker from making the save.
Don Leo Jonathan & CPW Tag Team Champions Ted DiBiase & Steve ‘Dr. Death’ Williams vs. Stan Hansen & Dirty Desperados (Dutch & Johnny Mantell) It was announced prior to the match that Don Leo Jonathan would replace Big Van Vader due to the injuries Vader suffered from the attack by Angelo Mosca earlier in the event. Hansen still seemed to be in a salty mood as he admonished the Mantells about touching his bull rope. Then there was a heated discussion about who was going to start the match. Hansen started the match and things didn't go well. The tag champs used multiple tags to keep Hansen off balance then tagged Jonathan to inflict some high impact damage. Hansen refused to tag either of his partners, who grew increasingly displeased. It came to a point where both Mantells attempted to tag themselves in to no avail. Ultimately, Dutch gave up and returned to the back, leaving his cousin to fend for himself. While Johnny pleaded with Dutch to return, Williams pinned Hansen following a press slam.
Post match: Hansen was irate as he saw Johnny in the aisle. Hansen grabbed his bull rope from the corner and chased Johnny all the way to the back. CPW JR. HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH Colt Cabana vs. CPW Jr. Heavyweight Champion Danny Hodge Cabana proved he was up for the return match, even though Hodge started fast. Hodge missed a turnbuckle charge and Cabana went to work, trying to wear Hodge down and gaining multiple near falls. Hodge absorbed all the punishment Cabana dealt out before staging a comeback. Cabana attempted to counter Hodge's attack, but fell short and Hodge pinned Cabana with an OKLAHOMA SIDE ROLL.
Larry Zbyszko & Original Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey & Randy Rose) w/ Dark Menace vs. Don Leo Jonathan & CPW Tag Team Champions Ted DiBiase & Steve ‘Dr. Death’ Williams Zbyszko started out fast against Jonathan before Jonathan's power overwhelmed Zbsyzko. Zbyszko tagged in Condrey, but he was met with the same power. Jonathan tagged out and DiBiase finished the job, pinning Condrey after a fist drop before anyone knew what happened.

(Leseveren welcomes the fans back to the program and announces it’s time for our featured contest.)
CPW TV TITLE MATCH Don Leo Jonathan vs. CPW TV Champion Baron Von Raschke Both men fought back and forth throughout the opening minutes. INTERVIEW: Lola Patterson interviews CPW Tag Team Champions Ted DiBiase & Steve ‘Dr. Death’ Williams Patterson asks the champs about their title defense coming up at CPW vs. The World. Williams spouts off that it should be a walk in the park against those two pipsqueaks, referring to Juventud Guerrera and Super Crazy. DiBiase adds that those two like to fly around the ring, but all it will take is one time for the champs to pluck them out of the sky and their opponents will be planted in the mat for the victory.
(Leseveren welcomes the fans back to the program and comments on how the CPW Tag Team Title match at CPW vs. The World is truly a size mismatch and a David vs. Goliath contest before mentioning CPW Jr. Heavyweight Champion Danny Hodge’s title defense against Jim Londos and how that is a more even contest.)
CPW Jr. Heavyweight Champion Danny Hodge vs. ‘Sodbuster’ Kenny Jay Hodge looked for an early victory, but Jay rolled through a flying body press and gained a near fall. Londos closes by commenting on Hodge’s strength and wrestling skill, and how he just hopes his (Londos’) performance is up to that to challenge Hodge.

CPW Women’s Champion Mercedes Martinez vs. Michelle Jackson Martinez made quick work of Jackson and pinned her with a power slam.
INTERVIEW: Lola Patterson interviews Larry Zbyszko w/ Dark Menace The Dark Menace snatches the microphone from Patterson before she can even ask her first question. Menace states that his man has been ducked by the CPW Heavyweight Champion long enough, that Larry Zbyszko is the true number one contender and demands a shot at whomever wins that title match at CPW vs. The World. Zbyszko comments that he doesn’t sweat current CPW Heavyweight Champion Big Van Vader or the challenger Angelo Mosca, and believes that in a fair contest, he could beat either man. Suddenly, Ox Baker comes into view and Zbyszko takes a couple of steps back, dropping the mic and nearly stumbling over Menace. Baker picks up the mic and tells Zbyszko that if he wants that shot at the title then he is going to have to wrestle someone of substance, someone who is also deserving of a title shot, and that someone is him, Ox Baker. Zbyszko and Menace beg off, saying that is not the case as the program goes to break.
(Leseveren welcomes the fans back to the program and announces that the match that was discussed before the break has been signed and will be one of the featured contests next week, but right now it’s time for this week’s featured contest as CPW TV Champion Baron Von Raschke prepares for his next title defense.)

Slaughter starts by commanding a-ten-hut, maggots. He goes on to inform Patterson and everyone else he is a proud American that has given his blood, sweat and tears for this country and will not stand idly by as foreign insurgents such as the goose stepping Von Raschke attempts to overthrow what is right and just in CPW. Patterson questions Slaughter given that Von Raschke is a huge fan favorite and Hutton responds first by asking if Patterson forgot what led up to the attack last week. Slaughter added that Hutton is an accomplished wrestler and Slaughter repeats, and Hutton returned to CPW to do just that, wrestle. Not be thrown through a ringside table. Slaughter closes by issuing a warning to anyone in CPW that thinks the word on the marquee doesn’t mean anything and says if there’s anyone here that needs to be reminded then they need to bid a hasty retreat, and that’s an order.(Leseveren welcomes the fans back to the program and comments on Sgt. Slaughter’s appearance in CPW. He says its odd that he has had his feathers ruffled by the rough house tactics of Baron Von Raschke when Slaughter is known as one of the bigger brawlers in the industry. Moving on, Leseveren announces the next live event will take play on July 8th, from the Denver Coliseum. It will be a very special event as it is CPW’s 1st Anniversary Event and not only will we be celebrating one year of operation, but we will also be celebrating the expansion of the territory into Rocky Mountain Pro Wrestling. Leseveren concludes by saying that all four titles will again be on the line and the winner of the next match will challenge Mercedes Martinez for the women’s title.) Jazz vs. Beverly ShadeJazz was all over Shade, looking for a submission victory. An early scorpion deathlock couldn’t get the job done, but a few minutes later Jazz made Shade submit to an STF. INTERVIEW: Lola Patterson interviews Stan Hansen Hansen is once again irate as he still hasn’t been able to get his hands on Johnny Mantell and demonstrate how a bull rope should be used, but figures there’s no better place to do this than the 1st Anniversary Event. Hansen claims the match has been signed and Mantell will not be able to get out of it this time.(Leseveren says a bull rope match has indeed been signed between Stan Hansen and Johnny Mantell for the 1st Anniversary Event and Mantell will be in action in our next match.) Johnny Mantell vs. Tom ‘Rocky’ StoneStone held his own against the wily Texas, but the action broke down outside the ring and Mantell was disqualified after slamming Stone through a ringside table. INTERVIEW: Lola Patterson interviews Original Midnight Express w/ Dark Menace & Mr. Hughes Patterson comments that the Original Midnight Express will challenge for the Tag Team Titles at the 1st Anniversary Event. Dark Menace questions why it took this long to sign the match. He states that the two men before you are the only two men that have shown that they have the talent and ability necessary to take the belts away from the current champs. Menace tells the champs that they should shine the belts up real nice because the Original Midnight Express will be walking out of the Denver Coliseum with those belts around their waists.(Leseveren welcomes the fans back to the program and documents the history between Ox Baker and Larry Zbyszko before sending it to the ring for our featured contest.) Ox Baker vs. Larry Zbyszko w/ Dark Menace & Mr. HughesZbyszko used stall tactics as the match began (rolling in and out of the ring, confabbing with Dark Menace, anything to get Baker off his game). Once the match actually began, Baker had the advantage, albeit briefly. Zbyszko battled and thought he had the match won after back-to-back PILEDRIVERS. Baker managed to survive, but was dazed. Zbyszko maintained the advantage until the action spilled out of the ring and Zbyszko was slammed through another ringside table. Dark Menace complained to the ref and the ref let the match continue. Zbyszko managed to battle back once again and looked like he might have the match won, but Baker rolled out of the ring. Dark Menace attempted to distract Baker, but Menace got decked for his trouble before Hughes could do anything. Baker rolled back into the ring and connected with a HEART PUNCH that echoed throughout the arena. Zbyszko was down and out, allowing Baker to get the victory. Post match: Medical personnel tended to Zbyszko, who laid motionless on the canvas. They quickly stabilized him, moved him to a stretcher and transported him to the back with Hughes, who was carrying a barely conscious Dark Menace over his shoulder, following closely as the program went off the air.

INTERVIEW: Lola Patterson interviews Johnny Mantell Patterson asks Mantell’s thoughts on his bull rope match with Stan Hansen at the 1st Anniversay Event, and Mantell nonchalantly says it will be no sweat. Patterson informs Mantell that the promoter has ruled that if Mantell does not compete in the match for any reason, his contract will be terminated and he will be banned from working any future pro wrestling events. Mantell contends that the promoter can’t do that and Patterson argues it’s already been done, before Mantell storms off.
(Leseveren welcomes the fans back to the program and announces it’s time for the feature match.)
CPW TV Champion Baron Von Raschke & The Crusher vs. Sgt. Slaughter & Dick Hutton As expected, this match broke down early as all four men brawled. The ref ended up declaring it a no contest as he never really had control.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN PRO WRESTLING 1 WRESTLING NATION 07-08-23 1STBANK CENTER BROOMFIELD, CO
(INTRO)
(Marco Epstein and Dark Menace are at the announce position near the ring.)
Epstein: Hello and welcome to the debut of 1 Wrestling Nation. I'm Marco Epstein, joined by the one and only Dark Menace.
DM: The pleasure is definitely yours, but it is nice to be here.
Epstein: It's an exciting time here as we have a lot to celebrate, starting with the expansion and re-christening of the promotion to Rocky Mountain Pro Wrestling. We are also celebrating the one year anniversary of the promotion with our big event this weekend called The Happening – 1st Anniversary Event.
DM: It will definitely be a celebration when it's over and my team, the Original Midnight Express, are the new RMPW Tag Team Champions.
Epstein: That remains to be seen, but it will be a great event that I'm sure no one will want to miss out on. Speaking of not missing out, you won't want to miss out on the answer to the obvious trivia question, who was in the first match on the debut of 1 Wrestling Nation. Let's head to the ring and find out.
Redd Dogg w/ Jazz vs. Ox Baker This match was a wild brawl from the open bell. Both men battled, in the ring and out, beating the hell out of each other. The ref maintained control the best he could and neither man could gain the decided advantage. The match was called a time limit draw.
(Pre-recorded promo from Sgt. Slaughter) Slaughter: Baron Von Raschke, you maggot … you and I have a date with destiny this weekend at The Happening - 1st Anniversary Event. I promise these great fans that if you want to continue to disgrace the words on the marquee … wrestling … then I am left with no choice … no choice but to defend them in that ring by using your same tactics … and that's an order.
(Epstein and Menace are at the announce position.)
Epstein: Before we get back to the action, I want to show the fans some footage from last month that I think you will be most interested in, Dark Menace.
DM: I think I know what you're talking about, and I'd rather not.
Epstein: Unfortunately, it's on the rundown sheet, so we really don't have a choice. Last month, your stable competed at a special event, where the Original Midnight Express joined Larry Zbyszko in facing off against the team of RMPW Heavyweight Champion Big Van Vader and RMPW Tag Team Champions Ted DiBiase & Steve ‘Dr. Death’ Williams.
DM: I am aware and again I will voice my displeasure in showing this footage.
Epstein: I'm sure you were displeased … fans, here is what we are talking about.
(Footage from the TRADITION 14th Anniversary Celebration is shown … In the end Big Van Vader got the victory for his team thanks to his Power Bomb that almost put Zybesko through the mat. It should also be noted that DiBiase during the match knocked out the Dark Menace cold via his black gloved fist!
As the match continued Menace needed medical attention and was taken to the back.)
I'm sure you hope this isn't a precursor to what is going to happen at The Happening - 1st Anniversary Event.
DM: Trust me … that outcome will be much different.
Epstein: Let's head to the ring, where Lola Patterson is ready to interview a newcomer to RMPW. Lola, take it away.
(Lola Patterson is in the ring with Bob Backlund.)
Patterson: I'm here with a man that sports quite the pedigree in this business. Bob Backlund, welcome to RMPW.
Backlund: Thank you, young lady. It is a true pleasure to be here.
Patterson: You have battled the best and might be one of the finest actual wrestlers in this business.
Backlund: My training regimen has been well documented and I pride myself on always being in top shape.
Patterson: I'm sure you’ll definitely be a force to be reckoned with in RMPW. Anyone in particular you're looking to face off with?
Backlund: I'm looking forward to facing a lot of tough competition, but something that has me really intrigued is the feud between Sgt. Slaughter and Baron Von Raschke. I'm not sure a lot of the fans are aware, but Baron Von Raschke is actually a very accomplished wrestler and can really hold his own on the mat.
Patterson: Does that mean you have your eyes on the RMPW TV Title?
Backlund: I'm sure title opportunities will be given to me as I earn them, but what is really curious about that situation is why Slaughter would be so concerned about Von Raschke's rough house tactics, when those are Slaughter’s main arsenal as well.
Patterson: Baron Von Raschke has brought up the same, but we are yet to see what Slaughter’s end game truly is. Sir, I'll let you get down to business and look forward to talking to you again.
Backlund: Thank you.
(Patterson exits the ring as the ref enters and the match begins.)
Bob Backlund vs. Mr. X Backlund controlled most of the match, but X got in a few licks. X survived two ATOMIC DROPS, but ultimately succumbed to a piledriver.
(Epstein and Menace are at the announce position.)
Epstein: As we mentioned before, this weekend is The Happening - 1st Anniversary Event and every title will be on the line. Big Van Vader defends the heavyweight title against Ox Baker, your team Dark Menace, the Original Midnight Express, challenge Ted DiBiase and Steve 'Dr. Death' Williams for the tag team titles, Danny Hodge defends the jr. heavyweight title in a return match against Colt Cabana and Jazz will challenge the women standing by with Lola Patterson in the locker room right now for the women's title.
(Lola Patterson is in the locker room with RMPW Women’s Champion Mercedes Martinez.)
Patterson: I'm joined at this time by Mercedes Martinez and Mercedes, this weekend you defend your title against the first RMPW Women's Champion Jazz at The Happening – 1st Anniversary Event. What are your thoughts headed into that title defense?
Martinez: We all know how tough Jazz is and how long she held on to this title. I have to say, though, that I have fought too long and too hard for my title reign to end at this time. Jazz is a fighter, but so am I and I will find a way to retain this weekend.
Patterson: There you have it guys. Back to you at ringside.
(Epstein and Menace are at the announce position.)
Epstein: As always, Mercedes Martinez sounds up to the challenge.
DM: Don't count Jazz out. She's a former champion. She knows what it takes to hold that belt and I imagine she's as hungry to regain the belt as Mercedes Martinez is to retain it.
Epstein: Time will tell who comes out on the winning side of that bout. Let's head to the ring for our next match.
Vivian Vachon vs. Racquel Ramirez Vachon looked good and pinned Ramirez following a VERTICAL SUPLEX.
(Pre-recorded comments from Hugh Morris) Morris: Hehehe … why did the man get hit by his bike every day. He was stuck in a vicious cycle. Hehehe … vicious … cycle … that's what's going to happen when you step in the ring with Hugh Morris … a vicious cycle of brutality. You have been warned … hehehe.
(Epstein and Menace are at the announce position.)
Epstein: Welcome back. It's hard to believe Dark Menace, but it's time for the feature match of our debut program.
DM: Dick Hutton will get another opportunity to show why the word wrestling is on the marquee.
Epstein: I'm sure Sgt. Slaughter and maybe even Bob Backlund will be paying close attention to this one.
RMPW TV TITLE MATCH Dick Hutton vs. RMPW TV Champion Baron Von Raschke Hutton started out fast, but Von Raschke countered. The action continued back and forth until it looked like Hutton was finally going to dethrone the champ, but The Crusher came to ringside, causing a distraction. Von Raschke caught Hutton with a running knee smash and made a quick pin.
(Epstein and Menace are at the announce position.)
Menace: Why is The Crusher sticking his nose where it doesn't belong?
Epstein: Hutton and Slaughter have been complaining about rough house tactics and there isn't any better example of that than the man who made Milwaukee famous.
Menace: But that still doesn't answer my question.
Epstein: Maybe Da Crush was just looking out for the best interests of his friend. Regardless, we're out of time, I hope everyone enjoyed the program. For The Dark Menace, I'm Marco Epstein and we'll talk to you next time.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN PRO WRESTLING THE HAPPENING - 1st ANNIVERSARY EVENT 07-08-23 DENVER COLISEUM DENVER, CO
Vivian Vachon vs. Toni Rose Rose was all over Vachon and beat her with a NECKBREAKER.
Henry Irslinger vs. 2 Cold Scorpio After a brief back and forth, Scorpio pinned Irslinger with a moonsault.
Long Riders (‘Wild’ Bill & Scott ‘Hog’ Irwin) vs. Marty Jannetty & Chaz Taylor Both teams executed multiple tags as the action went back and forth. Bill gained a near fall after a throat drop on the ropes to Jannetty, but Jannetty battled back. Jannetty hit the ROCKER DROPPER and pinned Bill.
Post match: The Long Riders are bent out of shape and attack Jannetty and Taylor. Both teams brawl around ringside and all the way back to the dressing room.
BULL ROPE MATCH Stan Hansen vs. Johnny Mantell Mantell complains about having to attach the bull rope, but ultimately allows it to be connected to his wrist, then he complains it’s too tight. Finally Hansen yanks on the rope, dragging Mantell into his clutches and the match begins. Hansen brutalized Mantell early, but Mantell countered with a whip to the turnbuckle, only for Hansen to move and Mantell to go all the way through to the buckle. Hansen followed up with a LARIAT, but was unable to drag Mantell to all four corners. The action continued with Hansen busting Mantell open. Mantell bled freely throughout the rest of the match. Mantell did recover and managed to tie Hansen to one of the turnbuckles. Mantell beat Hansen with the cow bell until Hansen was a bloody mess, unfortunately Mantell was unable to drag Hansen to all the corners. The action continued back and forth but ultimately Hansen delivered a violent piledriver, which rendered Mantell nearly unconscious and Hansen was able to drag Mantell and touch all four corners for the win.
Ivelisse vs. Beverly Shade Ivelisse gained an early advantage, but Shade battled back and made this a very competitive contest. Both ladies battled back and forth with Shade surviving two DESERT EAGLES. Shade then gained the upper hand and put Ivelisse away with THE HAMMER.
‘Jumpin’ Jim Brunzell vs. Jim Londos Londos spent most of the match grounding Brunzell with submission holds, and for good reason, as once Brunzell escaped, he took to the air and gained several near falls with his HIGH FLYING DROPKICK. Londos managed to ground Brunzell again and kept him down until using an AIRPLANE SPIN to gain the victory.
Love Brothers (‘Horrible’ Hartford & ‘Rotten’ Reginald) vs. Blackjack Mulligan & Scott Casey This was a very entertaining back and forth brawl. Both teams exchanged multiple tags and near falls. Eventually The Loves hit the DOUBLE HOT SHOT and Reginald pinned Casey.
RMWA TV Champion Baron Von Raschke vs. Sgt. Slaughter This match ended very quickly after it started. Von Raschke missed a turnbuckle charge, and tumbled over the top rope and out of the ring. He landed on his feet and dragged Slaughter out with him then smashed Slaughter’s head into the ring post. Slaughter must have caught a bolt or something because he started pouring blood. The ref deemed the injury too great for Slaughter to continue and awarded the match to Von Raschke.
RMWA WOMEN’S TITLE MATCH Jazz vs. RMWA Women’s Champion Mercedes Martinez Martinez was all over Jazz until the action spilled out of the ring and Jazz slammed Martinez through a ringside table. The ref called for the quick disqualification.
RMWA JR. HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH Colt Cabana vs. RMWA Jr. Heavyweight Champion Danny Hodge This turned into a grueling contest where Cabana absorbed quite a bit of punishment. Cabana did get his licks in and gain a couple of near falls, but it wasn’t enough as Hodge pinned him with an OKLAHOMA SIDE ROLL.
RMWA TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH Original Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey & Randy Rose) w/ Dark Menace & Mr. Hughes vs. RMWA Tag Team Champions Ted DiBiase & Steve ‘Dr. Death’ Williams OME showed that they were worthy challengers, gaining several near falls and controlling a lot of the match. In the end, it was the champs’ power that proved to be too much and Williams pinned Rose after a Doctor Bomb.
RMWA HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH Ox Baker vs. RMWA Heavyweight Champion Big Van Vader Both men beat the hell out of each other in this high impact, hard hitting affair. Vader dominated the match, even when Baker had the advantage Vader recovered quickly. Vader beat Baker with a bone-crunching splash.
Post match: Vader is attacked from behind by Stan Hansen. Hansen’s head is still bandaged as results of the injuries suffered in his bull rope match, but it isn’t slowing him down as he smashes Vader with the bell attached to the bull rope. Now Vader is busted open and dazed, but he begins to battle back. Both men continue to brawl throughout the arena and finally out of the building.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN PRO WRESTLING 1 WRESTLING NATION 07-15-23 1STBANK CENTER BROOMFIELD, CO
(INTRO)
(Marco Epstein and Dark Menace are at the announce position near the ring.)
Epstein: Hello and welcome to 1 Wrestling Nation. I'm Marco Epstein, joined by The Dark Menace.
DM: Pleased to be asked back, although why wouldn't I be. I was the highlight of last week's program.
Epstein: That's debatable, but we can talk about that later. We celebrated the one year anniversary of Rocky Mountain Pro Wrestling with The Happening – 1st Anniversary Event last Saturday, where all the champions successfully defended their titles.
Menace: RMPW Jr. Heavyweight Champion Danny Hodge and RMPW Women's Champion Mercedes Martinez both continue their stranglehold on their respective titles.
Epstein: As do RMPW Tag Team Champions Ted DiBiase and Steve 'Dr. Death' Williams after they once again defeated your team, the Original Midnight Express.
Menace: It was definitely an unfortunate turn of events last weekend.
Epstein: My understanding is that you and the Original Midnight Express have parted ways and with the injury that Larry Zbyszko suffered at the hands of Ox Baker sidelining him for a while, it looks as if your stable is empty, with the exception of Mr. Hughes.
Menace: You are wrong there, sir. I have fired that waste of space Hughes as well. I am currently scouting new talent, but I am being very selective with whom I will be managing in the future.
Epstein: That sounds like a good plan, since everyone you've had under your guidance thus far has proven to be a big embarrassment to you.
(Menace scowls.)
The one champion we haven't mentioned is RMPW Heavyweight Champion Big Van Vader, who also successfully defended his title against Ox Baker, but it was what happened after the match that has everyone talking.
(Video of post-match brawl between Vader & Stan Hansen … Post match: Vader is attacked from behind by Stan Hansen. Hansen’s head is still bandaged as results of the injuries suffered in his bull rope match, but it isn’t slowing him down as he smashes Vader with the bell attached to the bull rope. Now Vader is busted open and dazed, but he begins to battle back. Both men continue to brawl throughout the arena and finally out of the building.)
Lola Patterson is standing by in the locker room area with Stan Hansen.
(Lola Patterson is in the locker room area with Stan Hansen.)
Patterson: Stan Hansen, you attacked RMPW Heavyweight Champion Big Van Vader following his successful title defense last weekend at The Happening – 1st Year Anniversary Event. What prompted this assault?
Hansen: You like that Vader? Huh? Just like old times, right? Don't think I've forgotten about you running Bruiser Brody out of RMPW. Brody and I were going to run this place and now it's all up to me … and I'm going to take what you hold most dear, that RMPW Heavyweight Title.
Patterson: You and Big Van Vader definitely have a storied history, but he seemed to be up to the challenge and held his own in your assault.
Hansen: Look lady, don't act like you know what you're talking about when it comes to me and Vader. I took out that man's eye and nearly blinded him. It was an accident last time, but this time I might just pop both of them out and like it.
(The scene shifts back to Epstein and Menace at ringside.)
Epstein: Wow! Those are some strong words from Stan Hansen.
Menace: Hansen is crazy. All those guys from Texas dance to the beat of their own drum. I try very hard to stay away from all of them.
Epstein: It's definitely going to be explosive when Vader and Hansen meet in the ring. Speaking of the ring, let's head to the ring for today's opening contest.
2 Cold Scorpio vs. Bryan White Scorpio had little trouble with White, putting him away with THE DISS THAT DON'T MISS.
(Lola Patterson is in the ring with RMPW Tag Team Champions Ted DiBiase & Steve ‘Dr. Death’ Williams.)
Patterson: Welcome back to the program. I'm here with the RMPW Tag Team Champions Ted DiBiase and Steve 'Dr. Death' Williams. Gentlemen, congratulations on another title defense.
DiBiase: Yeah, it's beginning to sound like a broken record. Who, oh who, is ever gonna beat us.
Williams: There ain't nobody, Ted. There isn't a single team on this planet better than us. We have dominated the tag team scene for so long here, I'm getting a little bored.
DiBiase: You know what Steve, so am I. I challenge the RMPW board of directors to find a team that will even put up a fight.
Williams: Good luck, because I don't think there is one.
(Patterson exits the ring and the match begins.)
RMPW Tag Team Champions Ted DiBiase & Steve ‘Dr. Death’ Williams vs. Tyler & Moe Redd The champs dominated and Williams pinned Moe after an OKLAHOMA STAMPEDE.
(Back to Epstein and Menace at the announce position.)
Epstein: The sheer dominance of the tag champs is astounding.
DM: Blah, blah, blah … mark my words, there is a team out there that can beat them and I am going to find them.
Epstein: That remains to be seen. Let's send it to the locker room and the hardest working interviewer in wrestling, Lola Patterson. Lola?
(Lola Patterson is in the locker room with RMPW TV Champion Baron Von Raschke.)
Patterson: Thanks, Marco. I'm here with RMPW TV Champion Baron Von Raschke and you gained a victory at The Happening – 1st Anniversary Event over Sgt. Slaughter, but it definitely wasn't with wrestling.
(As Von Raschke responds, footage is shown of his match with Slaughter at The Happening - 1st Anniversary Event … Von Raschke missed a turnbuckle charge, and tumbled over the top rope and out of the ring. He landed on his feet and dragged Slaughter out with him then smashed Slaughter’s head into the ring post. Slaughter must have caught a bolt or something because he started pouring blood. The ref deemed the injury too great for Slaughter to continue and awarded the match to Von Raschke.)
BRV: No, it wasn't. I'm not going to lie. I can wrestle, I just choose not to. What happened to Slaughter last weekend was an unfortunate accident, but it is part of wrestling … PRO WRESTLING. Sgt. Slaughter comes out here and talks about what's on the marquee. He's forgetting the marquee states PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING and that is a completely different animal than what happens on the mats in sweaty gyms across this country.
Patterson: Bob Backlund recently debuted in RMPW and even though alluded to maybe getting a shot at your title someday, he kind of stuck up for you in this beef with Slaughter.
BVR: There's a saying keep your friends close and your enemies closer. I'm not sure which Backlund is yet, but I will say I've known Bobby a long time and he's definitely a standup guy, so if he's got my back, I'm sure that's where he stands. As far as him challenging me for this belt. I will face all challengers, and that's all the people need to know.
Patterson: That is indeed. We'll be right back.

(Epstein and Menace are at the announce position.)
Epstein: Welcome back. I am excited to announce our next live super event is Summer Bash coming up on August 5th and it will be our first big event outside the state of Colorado.
DM: And we're talking way outside the state. It's so far outside the state that it's not even in the same country.
Epstein: That's right. We'll be traveling north of the border to one of the historical hot beds of pro wrestling, Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
DM: Obviously The Hart family ran Calgary for years so it will be an honor for RMPW to promote in their old territory.
Epstein: So, we'll be headed out of country next month, but someone who already has some international experience is Debbie Malenko, and she's in our next match.
Debbie Malenko vs. Toni Rose These two ladies went at it tooth and nail from the opening bell. The action spilled out of the ring and the brawl continued. The ref was left with no choice but to disqualify both ladies.
(Epstein and Menace are at the announce position.)
Epstein: Debbie Malenko and Toni Rose certainly brought it in that match.
DM: Yeah, it’s too bad the referee had to end it.
Epstein: Indeed, that was the bad news. Speaking of bad news, let’s send it to Lola Patterson in the locker room who is standing by with a new comer to RMPW.
(Lola Patterson is in the locker room with Bad News Allen.)
Patterson: I’m here with Bad News Allen, and let me be the first to welcome you to RMPW.
Brown: I’m not much for pleasantries, but for yo’ fine ass, I’ll make an exception. All that aside, I’m from the streets and one thing I learned is that if you want something, you gotta go out and take it.
Patterson: So, I assume you’re going to go after some titles here in RMPW.
Brown: No champion is safe. Vader, Von Raschke … you better watch your step when Bad News is around.
Patterson: What about the tag team titles?
Brown: I don’t need nobody to help me. I’ll do it on my own. If I want those belts, I take them myself.
Patterson: I’m not exactly sure how that will work, but I guess only time will tell. We’ll be right back.
(Epstein and Menace are at the announce position.)
Epstein: I think Bad News may have eyes for Lola.
DM: She better watch herself. It sounds like whatever Bad News wants he takes.
Epstein: Hopefully Lola heeds your warning. Anyway, it’s time for this week’s featured contest and it’s the RMPW in ring debut for Hugh Morris.
Hugh Morris vs. Mr. X Both men collided with a double clothesline shortly after the opening bell. Morris recovered first and hit the NO LAUGHING MATTER for the victory.
(Epstein and Menace are at the announce position.)
Epstein: Hugh Morris, successful in his RMPW debut.
DM: All that maniacal laughter annoys me. Don’t get me wrong, the man is a fine athlete, but I could do without all that incessant laughter.
Epstein: I will pass that message along. Fans, we’re out of time. For The Dark Menace, I’m Marco Epstein and we’ll talk to you next time.

ROCKY MOUNTAIN PRO WRESTLING 1 WRESTLING NATION 07-22-23 1STBANK CENTER BROOMFIELD, CO
(INTRO)
(Marco Epstein and Dark Menace are at the announce position near the ring.)
Epstein: Hello and welcome to 1 Wrestling Nation. I'm Marco Epstein, joined by The Dark Menace.
DM: Again, happy to grace everyone with my presence.
Epstein: We have a great show in store for you today. RMPW Jr. Heavyweight Champion Danny Hodge will be in action, as will The Greco Grapplers.
DM: All men are very fine wrestlers and in the words of Sgt. Slaughter, that’s what’s on the marquee.
Epstein: Indeed, it is. We’re just a few minutes away from hearing from the RMPW Heavyweight Champion, but first it’s the in-ring debut of Bad New Allen. Let’s go to the ring. Bad News Allen vs. Tom ‘Rocky’ Stone Allen was all over Stone and beat him with the GHETTO BLASTER.
Epstein: A solid debut by Bad News Allen.
DM: Definitely a dominant performance.
Epstein: Do you think you’d be interested in managing Bad News?
DM: The man has made it abundantly clear that he works alone.
Epstein: I guess he has. Fans, Lola Patterson is standing by with RMPW Heavyweight Champion Big Van Vader. Lola, take it away.
(Lola Patterson is in the locker room with a very angry RMPW Heavyweight Champion Big Van Vader)
Patterson: Vader, you obviously have unfinished business with Stan Hansen. You get an opportunity to settle the score at Summer Bash, but you have to put the RMPW Heavyweight Title on the line.
Vader: It doesn’t matter what’s on the line. Stan Hansen, you and I, we go way back. We have had epic battles in the past and yes, he tried to blind me. He says it was an accident, but he and I know the truth. The truth is I’m better than you and you know it. I’m the best big man in wrestling and you are scared. Summer Bash … it’s time. It’s Vader time!
(Pre-recorded promo by 2 Cold Scorpio)
Scorpio: Hey, hey, hey … 2 Cold in the house. Danny Hodge, you got sumthin’ I want and it’s the Jr. Heavyweight Championship belt and I’m comin’ to get it at Summer Bash. Look out … here come 2 Cold Scorpio!
(Epstein and Menace are at the announce position.)
Epstein: Here comes 2 Cold Scorpio indeed. Two championship matches announced for Summer Bash … Scorpio challenges Danny Hodge for the RMPW Jr. Heavyweight Title and Big Van Vader defends the RMPW Heavyweight Title against Stan Hansen.
DM: Vader and Hansen are just going to beat the hell out of each other, and talk about a contrast in styles … Hodge is going to have a hard time keeping Scorpio grounded.
Epstein: Another title match has been signed for Summer Bash as well, as it looks as if the board of directors has deemed the Long Riders as number one contenders for the tag team titles.
DM: The Irwins have had some success as of late, but I still think they will be no match for the champs.
Epstein: I tend to agree. Let’s go to the ring as one of the champs we discussed is in action.
RMPW Jr. Heavyweight Champion Danny Hodge vs. Tyler Redd Hodge put on quite the display before pinning Redd with the OKLAHOMA SIDE ROLL
(Lola Patterson is in the locker room with The Long Riders (‘Wild’ Bill Irwin & Scott ‘Hog’ Irwin))
Patterson: I’m here with The Long Riders and gentlemen, you’ve recently been named the number one contenders for the RMPW Tag Team Titles. What makes you think this time will go differently than when you challenged the champs in the past?
Bill: Watch who you’re callin’ gentlemen missy. We are going to be far from gentle when we face the champs at Summer Bash.
Scott: It sounds like DiBiase and Williams are a little full of themselves and confident … maybe a little too confident, and that’s exactly what my brother and I are going to capitalize on.
Bill: That’s right, just you watch … The Long Riders are walking out of Summer Bash the new RMPW Tag Team Champions.
(Epstein and Menace are at the announce position.)
Epstein: Welcome back to the program fans and it has been pretty well documented in the first several episodes of 1 Wrestling Nation just how crazy the feud between Sgt. Slaughter and Baron Von Raschke has been.
DM: It’s really kind of a farce, and you’ve got Dick Hutton, The Crusher, and now it seems Bob Backlund involved. When will the madness stop?
Epstein: It probably won’t be with the next match as Slaughter and Hutton team up to take on The Greco Grapplers.
Sgt. Slaughter & Dick Hutton vs. The Greco Grapplers (Jim Londos & George Tragos) Slaughter, who was still sporting a bandage on his head from the injury he suffered at The Happening, and Hutton overpowered their opponents early, but Londos and Tragos battled back. They began to give Slaughter and Hutton fits with their submission wrestling and ultimately Londos made Slaughter submit to a short arm scissors.
After the match, Londos and Tragos were celebrating their victory when Slaughter and Hutton attacked. Slaughter locked Londos in the COBRA CLUTCH while Hutton had Tragos in an abdominal stretch, making Tragos watch his partner losing consciousness. Suddenly, The Crusher, Bob Backlund and Baron Von Raschke hit the ring, running the assailants off.
(Bob Backlund grabs the mic.)
Backlund: Slaughter! You talk about wrestling being on the marquee, but you’re far from a wrestler with actions like that. You want to face a wrestler? How about you face one of the best in world. Face me! I’m a wrestler! Face me at Summer Bash and I’ll give you a wrestling lesson you’ll never forget.

(Epstein and Menace are at the announce position.)
Epstein: Welcome back fans. It’s time for today’s featured match.
DM: RMPW TV Champion Baron Von Raschke will defend his title against Redd Dogg in what should be a very intriguing brawl.
RMPW TV TITLE MATCH Redd Dogg w/ Jazz vs. RMPW TV Champion Baron Von Raschke Von Raschke was all over Dogg, but Dogg endured. Dogg managed to survive two BRAIN CLAWS, but not a third and was forced to submit.
(Epstein and Menace are at the announce position.)
Epstein: The power in Baron Von Raschke’s hand it phenominal.
DM: I definitely don’t want to be on the other end of his BRAIN CLAW, that’s for sure.
Epstein: Same goes for me. Fans, we’re out of time. For The Dark Menace, I’m Marco Epstein and we’ll talk to you next time.
