JUST WRESTLING HERE & NOW: Night One
March 13th, 2023
BATTLE FOR TRADITION CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT QUALIFYING MATCHES ROBBIE EAGLES defeated DAVEY BOY SMITH JR. (w/ Brian Pillman Jr. in the corner) VICTORY BY: Turbo Backpack TIME OF MATCH: 16 Minutes 29 Seconds NOTES: "Huge win for Eagles over the 2023 Submission 16 Tournament Champion & 1/2 of the Bound by Tradition Tag Team Champion in Smith. It should be noted it was done with a clean pin despite Pillman Jr. and eventually Aussie Open roaming around ring side, Eagles survived an early onslaught including the Bulldog Bomb FINISHER and looked as though surprised his rival with the finish to now qualify for the Battle for Tradition Championship Tournament. Davey Boy Smith Jr. will now be a part of the Last Chance Battle Royal to try to secure a spot in the Tournament."
CALVIN TANKERMAN defeated CHRIS HERO VICTORY BY: Tankerman Driver FINISHER TIME OF MATCH: 15 Minutes 58 Seconds NOTES: "Hard hitting slobber-Knocker between these two throughout, Tankerman with a suicide dive to the outside Hero flush in the face smashing the back of his head into the steel guardrail was the beginning of the end for the Tradition veteran as Calvin then got him back in the ring to deliver the finish to qualify for the Championship Tournament. Hero will now join Davey Boy Smith Jr. in the Last Chance Battle Royal."
WILLIE MACK (w/ Rich Swann in his corner) defeated JEFF COBB (w/ Don Muraco in his corner) VICTORY BY: Stunner FINISHER TIME OF MATCH: 11 Minutes 40 Seconds NOTES: "Considering what a role Jeff Cobb has been on since the inception of Just Wrestling he and Muraco have really become the faces of the company, so with that in mind many believed this to be a huge upset! I say don't take anything away from Mack who stood toe to toe and took a lot of punishment from Cobb and out of nowhere (sorry Randy Orton) hit his finisher to advance to the Tournament. Cobb looked totally dejected leaving the match despite Muraco trying to hype him up. A standing ovation for Mack as he and Swann celebrated in the ring."
MIKE BAILEY defeated JAKE SOMETHING VICTORY BY: Ultima Weapon FINISHER TIME OF MATCH: 20 Minutes 34 Seconds NOTES: "What a match! It should be noted that the wife of Mike Bailey and manager of the longest reigning Frontier Heavyweight Champion, Jake Something VEDA SCOTT was sitting in the front row for this match. At certain points Jake would look over at Veda to possibly get involved in the match but that has not been confirmed. Back and forth these two went, you have to give so much credit to Bailey who took an unbelievable amount of punishment in this match throughout but just kept fighting back.
By the end of this masterpiece Jake Something was wearing the crimson mask, Mike would escape a Something Bomb and deliver a kick square in the jaw of Jake knocking him out on his feet which led to the Finisher for an unbelievable three count and victory. As the crowd gave a standing ovation to both men who laid exhausted in the ring, Veda did jump the railing and went in the ring to check on...Mike Bailey. CURT STALLION came from the back to check on his long-time tag team partner Jake Something.
Veda did attempt to go over to check on Jake, but Stallion was already helping him to the back as Mike Bailey got to his feet to another standing ovation, as Veda stayed in the ring clapping for him as well to end the show." -END (26)

JUST WRESTLING HERE & NOW: Night Two March 14th, 2023 BATTLE FOR TRADITION CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT QUALIFYING MATCHES DAN "THE BEAST" SEVERN defeated TIMOTHY THATCHER VICTORY BY: Armbar FINISHER TIME OF MATCH: 11 Minutes 18 Seconds NOTES: "The rivalry between these two continues, this time it was the MMA Hall of Famer who got the hard-earned victory in the end thanks to a submission finish, it should be noted that Thatcher did not tap out but instead passed out and the official made the call to end the match. Severn had a great game plan going right for the left arm and shoulder throughout the contest. Thatcher really got frustrated and went high risk and tried to deliver a shoulder tackle off the top rope which did not pay off."
JEREMY WYATT defeated TYSON DUX (w/ Nichole Matthews in the corner) VICTORY BY: Brainbuster TIME OF THE MATCH: 16 Minutes 2 Seconds NOTES: "It was heavily questioned by a lot of people in the locker room, the reasoning why the promotion would add Wyatt to this match, since up till that point he never wrestled for JUST WRESTLING. Well Jeremy came out with a chip on his shoulder and went to war to prove a point against Tyson. Great match between these two veterans that could of went either way. Jeremy took the battle to the outside and smashed Dux into the steel post and tossed him back in the ring for the finish."
JONATHAN GRESHAM defeated ERICK STEVENS VICTORY BY: Octopus Stretch FINISHER TIME OF MATCH: 16 Minutes 6 Seconds NOTES: "Outstanding contest, give credit to Stevens who stood toe to toe with who many might say the best pure wrestler on the planet right now. Everyone in the building thought Erick had the match won after his SARASOTA SCREWDRIVER Finisher BUT the Octopus escaped right before the three count came down. Back and forth they went until Stevens went for a splash in the corner and as Jonathan moved Erick smashed his head on the steel post busting his forehead open, Gresham went in for the kill and got the submission victory via his finisher."
LAST CHANCE OVER THE TOP ROPE BATTLE ROYAL ORDER OF ELIMINATION
1. ERICK STEVENS (BY: Jeff Cobb * Give credit to Stevens who refused medical attention until after the battle royal, showing real toughness with blood just pouring down his face. He would receive 12 stiches on his forehead after the match*) 2.TIMOTHY THATCHER (BY: Chris Hero) 3.TYSON DUX (BY: Jake Something) 4.DAVEY BOY SMITH JR. (BY: Jake Something) 5.CHRIS HERO (BY: Jake Something) 6. JAKE SOMETHING (BY: Jeff Cobb *A hell of a hoss fight both of these two had equal opportunity to toss the other*)
WITH THE VICTORY JEFF COBB IS THE LAST ENTERANT QUALIFYED FOR THE BATTLE FOR TRADITION CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT -END (27)

JUST WRESTLING BATTLE FOR TRADITION CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT March 20th, 2023 OPENING ROUND RESULTS
MIKE BAILEY defeated JEREMY WYATT VICTORY BY: Ultimo Weapon FINISHER (3rd time in the match) TIME OF MATCH: 17 Minutes 55 Seconds NOTES: "The crowd was not with Jeremy Wyatt at all, a lot of feeling backstage is why he had an oppertunity to be in this Tournament when he has not wrestled for the promotion prior, where there is talent that has and did not have the opportunity. Regardless a tremendous match between these two, at one point Bailey was in big trouble as Wyatt had his KC Crossface submission in and as the official raised Mikes arm down for the third time it fell right on the ropes for the break!
Wyatt was furious with the decision to break the hold, as Bailey made a comeback and get the victory! After the match Wyatt went right after the official which included some very heated words, the crowd would start throwing litter in the ring and chant for Wyatt to get out of the ring. Jeremey would eventually but not before he flipped everyone off, security would need to be called down to escort him out of the building." JEFF COBB (Don Muraco in his corner) defeated WILLIE MACK (Rich Swann in his corner) VICTORY BY: Tour of the Islands FINISHER TIME OF MATCH: 10 Minutes 1 Seconds NOTES: "A true hoss fight between these two, stiff shots throughout. Cobb not only survived a rip tire cannonball early on the match but also Mack's Six Star Frog Splash Finisher! The two wouuld go at outside of the ring, were Muraco seemed like he wanted to get involved but was cut off by Rich Swann! The two would continue to brawl as Mack got the better of it and hit Cobb with his stunner FINISHER! Mack got Cobb in the ring but Jeff would kick out right before the three count!
Cobb would recover and go on the offense and really blitz Mack with 2 consecutive F-5000 which led to the finish." DAN SEVERN defeated CALVIN TANKERMAN VICTORY BY: Bow & Arrow TIME OF MATCH: 19 Minutes 28 Seconds NOTES: "Many dubbed this the match of the first round and Calvin Tankerman 's despite the loss proving he belongs in the ring with the best. The Indiana native had the MMA legend what seemed to be dead to rights on several occasions of the match, Severn was busted open during the later stages which seemed to kick start him into another level, and was able to put his young opponent away with a submission but it should be noted that Calvin in fact passed out and the official called for the bell" JONATHAN GRESHAM defeated ROBBIE EAGLES VICTORY BY: Octopus Stretch FINISHER TIME OF MATCH: 16 Minutes 20 Seconds NOTES: "A wrestling masterpiece between these two which garnered "This is WRESTLING chants from the crowd, rightfully so. Neither really had a sustained offense in this match but boy the counter wrestling by both was top notch, with several near falls and submissions had by both. In the end a German suplex bridge dropped Robbie on the back of his head, he immediately rolled out of the ring where the ringside physician went over to check on him, but Eagles refused the assistance got back in the ring right into the finish. After the match the two shook hands but you could tell Eagles was disappointed as he was helped to the back by the medical staff to end the show" -END (28) Night Two of the Battle for Tradition Tournament is set.....
Mike Bailey vs. Jeff Cobb (Don Muraco in his corner) Dan Severn vs. Jonathan Gresham
The winners will meet each other in the FINALS.
BOUND BY TRADITION TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP Match (C) Davey Boy Smith Jr. & Brian Pillman Jr. defend against Aussie Open

JUST WRESTLING BATTLE FOR TRADITION CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT March 2st, 2023 SEMI-FINAL RESULTS JEFF COBB (w/ Don Muraco in his corner) defeated MIKE BAILEY VICTORY BY: Athletic Plex TIME OF MATCH: 10 Minutes 29 Seconds NOTES: "Got to say Mike Bailey almost had the match won in the very first minute or so after connecting with his ultimo weapon FINISHER but Muraco distracted the official enough before he went for the count! Cobb would recover and start tossing Mike around the ring but boy did Bailey fight back with kicks and strikes a plenty. Jeff would respond with two consecutive Tour of the Islands FINISHERS but again Bailey would escape the three count. Cobb however would not let up and eventually get the victory to punch his ticket to the finals." DAN SEVERN defeated JONATHAN GRESHAM VICTORY BY: Tombstone Piledriver TIME OF MATCH: 18 Minutes 52 Seconds NOTES: "A technical masterpiece that went back and fourth, that eventually the MMA legend would have to stray away from trying to submit one of the true best grapplers in the game today, because no matter how many armbars, no matter how many stretch combinations, no matter how many choke holds, Jonathan Gresham would not submit or tap. Severn did change course despite suffering a shoulder injury half way through the contest and was able to drop Gresham on his head for the hard fought victory that could have gone either way. Dan Severn heads to the FINALS" BOUND BY TRADITION TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH AUSSIE OPEN (Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher) defeated (C) DAVEY BOY SMITH JR. & BRIAN PILLMAN JR. VICTORY BY: Fidgett Spinner FINISHER on Pillman Jr. TIME OF MATCH: 11 Minutes 56 Seconds NOTES: "The long awaited rematch finally takes place and Aussie Open regains the titles as history has been made, Davis and Fletcher really cornered Pillman throughout the match and worked him over, despite a huge offensive flurry by Davey Boy Jr. it just wasn't enough, as the tag team expertise of the Aussies came through in a big way to become two-time champions." BATTLE FOR TRADITION CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNAMENT FINALS DAN SEVERN defeated JEFF COBB (w/ Don Muraco in his corner) VICTORY BY: pinning combination when Cobb came off the ropes! TIME OF MATCH: 15 Minutes 59 Seconds NOTES: "An unbelievable contest as the aged MMA legend came into this match with a heavily bandaged shoulder thanks to the prior match up, Cobb would end up giving up his blood, aweat and tears to only within inches away from becoming champion in this back and fourth classic and how Severn was able to hold Cobb down juat enough for it to end like it did, shocking! After all the punishment by both men to each other, the submissions, the strong style stiffness throughout the match, truly one that will go down in the history books for sure." -END (29) Make sure to join us for our JUST WRESTLING: MORE THAN JUST MANIA Tour beginning on April 3rd, 2023

JUST WRESTLING MORE THAN JUST MANIA: Night One April 3rd 2023 The newly crowned BATTLE FOR TRADITION Champion, Dan Severn is shown on camera, coming from the backstage area and sitting in the front row, wearing a suit, with the title over his shoulder to a mixed reaction from the crowd, he did sign a few autographs before focusing in on the show. CALVIN TANKMAN defeated DAVEY BOY SMITH JR. VICTORY BY: Tankman Driver FINISHER TIME OF MATCH: 16 Minutes 9 Seconds NOTES:" A hoss fight to kick off the show that did not disappoint, heavy hits by both men but an unfortunate turn of events for Submission 16 Tournament winner as it seemed that he severely hurt his knee when he landed outside of the ring after getting tossed by Tankman. The official went to put the X signal to the back up but Jr. stopped him from doing so and crawled back in the ring where Calvin finished the match. Brian Pillman Jr. alongf with medical came rushing to the ring after the three count to assist Davey Jr. to the back.
Pillman was screaming at the ref and bad-mouthing Tankman who just shrugged him off as he went to the back" MIKE BAILEY defeated ROBBIE EAGLES VICTORY BY: Triangle Choke Submission TIME OF THE MATCH: 15 Minutes 9 Seconds NOTES: "An outstanding fast paced, technical match that both athletes had several opportunities to take the victory. Bailey started out strong but got caught by Eagles who hit his Sniper of the Skies FINISHER but it was not enough to keep the former X-Division champion down and apparently it wasn't enough when Eagles hit his pulse drop 2k18 either!
Eagles perhaps getting frustrated went for broke with a high-risk top rope move but instead got caught coming down into a triangle choke by Bailey which after a few moments of trying to reach the ropes unsuccessfully Eagles passed out and the official called to end the match. After the match Bailey at first would not let go of the hold, this brought down KYLE FLETCHER and MARK DAVIS, which brough out VEDA SCOTT to convince Bailey to release the hold>
After a stare down with the BOUND BY TRADITION Tag Team Champions, Bailey left the ring with Veda!" When suddenly the arena went dark.....after a few moments THE KINGS OF THE BLACK THRONE (Brody King & Tommy End) attacked the Tag Champions in the ring to start the main event of Night One
BOUND BY TRADITION TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH (C) AUSSIE OPEN (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis) defeated KINGS OF THE BLACK THRONE (Tommy End & Brody King) VICTORY BY: Fidget Spinner FINISHER on Tommy End TIME OF MATCH: 12 Minutes 13 Seconds NOTES:"Despite the attack before the bell by the kings, the Champions were not only able to withstand the early onslaught but fight back in a big way to retain their titles, Kyle and Tommy went to war against each other with stiff kicks and strikes but the turning point was when Brody went for broke against Davis and Mark literally knocked him out with a stiff right hand. That enabled the double team finish on End" BEFORE THE END OF NIGHT ONE OF THE TOUR ........The Battle for Tradition Champion, Dan Severn addressed the crowd. The Beast stated that he would be a fighting champion, he knows that Jonathan Gresham who is here tonight, and Jeff Cobb who is currently on his way back to Japan BOTH deserve shots at this championship and that they will recieve them as long as he (Severn) is the champion, BUT Severn explains that he wants to start out his title reign a little different, usually someone emerges and challenges the champion, NOT IN THIS CASE!
For Severn's first title defense as Champion, he will call out a challenger! MARK BRISCOE do you accept a chance to win this championship at the main event of this tour? -END (30)
