So, I am getting close to tax return time, and that means time to start thinking about who gets the Werner treatment this year... I am now open for suggestions/requests, and there will be some polls coming up to help finalize...
My thought at the moment is something like this...
10 card set:
1&2: Tag Team
3&4: Tag team of good singles guys (i.e. Brody and Hansen, Doc and Gordy, Vachons, etc)
5: Vintage Male
6: Female (most likely vintage to silver era)
7: Foreign Wrestler
8: Low-midcarder
and if i do 2 more to make 10, then i will figure out what i am adding...
thoughts?

Of Course I'm Going to Offer an Opinion or two  You Already have a great bootleg.....how about a Werner ERNIE LADD Tag Team: EAST-WEST Connection ADONIS & VENTURA (does tie into recent AWA set) or the REAL Brisco Brothers (JACK & JERRY) Tag Team: (for My brother) also includes two Great Singles DOOM (Butch Reed & Ron Simmons of Course) FOREIGN: EDOURD CARPENTIER Note: I would Prefer SPIROS ARION (but he may be a bit obscure for some) STAN "THE MAN" STASIAK (True master of the Heart Punch) WAHOO MCDANIEL I off course want a VELVET MCINTYRE (which could end up official at some point) but how about VIVIAN VACHON or MARIE LAVERNE for Woman (or Vintage) I'm not sure if THE MONGOLIAN STOMPER counts as vintage......but he is one I would not hate Seeing in color (you have done so many Great Vintage Wrestlers I'm not sure who is Left...but I have an interesting name for you GEORGE STEADMAN) and of course the MOON DOGS (WITH KING) |

Dipaulo is an official signee so I will hold off there... Wahoo I have reason to believe will be forthcoming by someone else sooner than later... other than those 2, everyone on these lists is great calls and some are on the top of my lists as well...
For now, I will let slip the first name since he has been requested and named here already...

Ernie is The only other confirmed so far... But i think you will be pleased with the overall flow of this set... And love the name for Robinson and Thornton, that is freakin awesome! |
