Kiel Auditorium; StL ---In non-tournament action, Joe Blanchard puts Ric McCord down w/ an Airplane Spin. ---In an excellent tag bout, Alexis Smirnoff/Boris Zhukov get the win over The Conways after Smirnoff drops Tiger Sr w/ the HEART PUNCH. The menacing heels taunt the Conways as Jr helps Sr to the back. ....Round-Robin Tournament: Round #1.... --- Jim Londos over Bobo Brazil w/ the BOSTON CRAB in a great bout. The heroes shook hands before and after the match as the fans gave both a standing ovation. --- Jack Brisco over Da Crusher, winning w/ a Lateral Guillotine. No handshakes in this one as both competitors went toe-to-toe but it was the Oklahoma native that pulls out the victory to earn the 2 points. --- Ted Dibiase gets a DQ win over Bruiser Brody w/ some chicanery as Dibiase brought a chair into the ring, tossed it to Brody, and promptly sold like Brody had decked him with it. Brody was irate and chased Dibiase and the referee from the ring. ---The final match from Round #1 saw John Tolos take a win over Harley Race after jabbing a thumb to Harley's throat and drop a Standing Knee Drop to pick up the win. ....Standings will be updated after every second card of the tournament.... |

Kiel Auditorium; StL ---In non-tourney action, Tiger Conway Jr gets a measure of revenge against Alexis Smirnoff, winning w/ the FLYING HEADBUTT. Jr asked for this match after Smirnoff injured Tiger Conway Sr last week w/ the HEART PUNCH. Afterwards, Boris Zhukov storms the ring and together w/ Smirnoff, they pummel Jr until help arrives from the locker room. ---The Masked Killer Bees take down the Texas Hangmen after they hit BEE STING on Killer for the finish. ....Round Robin Tournament: Round #2.... --- Da Crusher scores the win over Jim Londos w/ a Stomach Claw in a good, heated bout. --- Jack Brisco over John Tolos, winning w/ the FIGURE-FOUR LEGLOCK. Tolos almost heeled his way to victory w/ a low blow and a cover while holding the ropes. However, Brisco was able to kick out in the nick of time and fight back to take the win. --- Bruiser Brody takes a wild, bloody match over Bobo Brazil after landing the JUMPING KNEE DROP. The two bashed each other into the ring post on several occasion during the match. We could be seeing a heated rivalry starting between the two. --- Ted Dibiase over Harley Race w/ the FIGURE-FOUR LEGLOCK to give the the legendary Race his second consecutive loss in as many matches. Kiel Auditorium; StL ---In non-tournament action to start the show, Exotic Adrian Street takes a tainted win over Bob Armstrong w/ the CRUCIFIX. The referee went down during the match, allowing Street to choke Armstrong unconscious w/ his feather boa. Afterwards, Street went to put lipstick on ol Bullet Bob but was chased from the ring by Brad Armstrong. --- The Quebecers over Joe Blanchard/Iron Mike Dibiase after they drop Dibiase w/ TOWER OF QUEBEC. ....Round Robin Tournament: Round #3.... --- Jim Londos puts down Bruiser Brody w/ a Fireman's Carry Slam. --- John Tolos out heels Ted Dibiase and hits the FLYING KNEE DROP for the win. --- Da Crusher sends Harley Race to his third consecutive loss, winning w/ the CRUSHER BOLO. ---In a great main event, Jack Brisco def. Bobo Brazil w/ the FIGURE-FOUR LEGLOCK. |

Kiel Auditorium; StL ---In non-tourney action, Brad Armstrong over Scott Casey w/ the RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP. Exotic Adrian Street came out afterwards but Bob Armstrong countered the threat and Street left after jawing w/ The Armstrongs. --- The Texas Hangmen take a DQ win over Joe Blanchard/Iron Mike Dibiase after a frustrated Iron Mike bashed Killer w/ a steel chair. ....Round Robin Tournament: Round #4.... --- Da Crusher over John Tolos w/ the CRUSHER BOLO. ---In a great match, Jim Londos over Ted Dibiase after Dibiase tried a sunset flip but Londos just sat down on Ted for the 3-count. ---Huge match that saw Jack Brisco survive over Bruiser Brody after Brisco wore Brody down w/ an assortment of Suplexes before getting the win w/ a Lateral Guillotine. --- Harley Race finally gets in the win column by putting away Bobo Brazil w/ the PILEDRIVER. A frustrated Race used several shortcuts during the match that turned the tide in his favor and drew soft boos from the crowd before the finish. --Standings-- Jack Brisco -- 8pts Da Crusher -- 6pts Jim Londos -- 6pts John Tolos -- 4pts Ted Dibiase -- 4pts Bruiser Brody -- 2pts Harley Race -- 2pts Bobo Brazil -- 0pts |

Kiel Auditorium; StL ---in non-tournament action, Boris Zhukov over Tiger Conway Sr w/ the DIVING HEADBUTT. Sr was having his way when Alexis Smirnoff emerged from the back but gets cut off by Tiger Conway Jr. However, as the referee was distracted Ivan Koloff came out of the crowd and clocked Sr w/ Zhukov's flag pole, leading to the finish. --- The Quebecers over Sam Houston/Scott Casey after they land TOWER OF QUEBEC on Casey. ....Round Robin Tournament: Round #5.... --- John Tolos over Bruiser Brody by DQ after Tolos baits Brody into inadvertently punching the referee. Brody was irate afterwards, chasing Tolos from ringside. ---Two brawlers go at each other in a great match as Bobo Brazil earns the win over Da Crusher w/ the COCO BUTT. The duo shake hands afterwards and getting a standing ovation from the crowd. --- Harley Race over Jim Londos w/ the VERTICAL SUPLEX. Again, Harley uses some heel tactics and the crowd let him know of their disproval of his actions. ---In the main event, Ted Dibiase uses the FIGURE-FOUR LEGLOCK to score a win over Jack Brisco. This loss gives Jack his first loss of the tournament. |

Kiel Auditorium; StL ---In non-tourney action, the Masked Killer Bees over Bill White/Frank Dalton when they drop Dalton w/ the KILLER DROPKICK. ---In a heated brawl, Bob Armstrong takes down Exotic Adrian Street w/ the GEORGIA JAWJACKER. However, Adrian Adonis jumps Armstrong from behind with a steel chair. Street proceeds to put lipstick on Bullet Bob as Adonis holds Brad Armstrong at bay until security storms the ring. Bob is left with a face full of lipstick as the StL faithful jeer the heels as they congratulate themselves for their actions. ....Round Robin Tournament: Round #6.... --- Ted Dibiase over Da Crusher in a back and forth battle. It took three consecutive FULL POWER SLAMS to get the job done. --- Bobo Brazil takes down John Tolos w/ the COCO BUTT. --- Jack Brisco takes the win over Jim Londos, winning w/ the FIGURE-FOUR LEGLOCK. It comes down to either Brisco or Ted Dibiase as to who will win the tournament. Card #7 will be very interesting as a win by Brisco locks it up while a Dibiase win and a Brisco loss gives the tournament to Dibiase. ---In the main event, Harley Race takes a DQ win over Bruiser Brody as Brody crushed Harley with a steel chair after Race sucker punched Brody. --Standings-- Jack Brisco -- 10 pts Ted Dibiase -- 8 pts Jim Londos -- 6 pts Da Crusher -- 6 pts John Tolos -- 6 pts Harley Race -- 6 pts Bobo Brazil -- 4 pts Bruiser Brody -- 2 pts |

Kiel Auditorium; StL ---In the opener, Adrian Adonis makes his in-ring debut with a win over Ron Hutchison w/ GOODNIGHT IRENE. --- Alexis Smirnoff/Boris Zhukov over The Conways after Smirnoff levels Jr w/ the HEART PUNCH. Ivan Koloff made his presence known throughout the match, routinely distracting Sr and basically leaving Jr in a 2-on-1 situation. ....Round Robin Tournament: Round 7: Rivalry Round.... --- Jim Londos over John Tolos by DQ after Tolos gets caught sucker-punching his opponent w/a pair off brass knuckles. Afterwards, Tolos continued the assault on Londos until George Tragos makes the save. --- Bruiser Brody over Da Crusher w/ a Running Leg Drop. ---In a great match, Ted Dibiase keeps himself in contention to win the tournament w/ a win over Bobo Brazil, winning w/ the FIGURE-FOUR LEGLOCK. Dibiase worked over the Bobo's leg, especially on the outside where he dropped his opponent over the security railing knee-first several times. ---In the main event to determine the winner of the tournament and the new World's HW Champion, Harley Race scores the win over Jack Brisco w/ the VERTICAL SUPLEX. Ted Dibiase, who had stayed at ringside after his match, held Brisco's feet and prevented Jack from kicking out!! This means that Teddy is the tournament winner and the new champion!! Sam Munchnik brings out the tournament trophy and the World's title, presenting them to Dibiase. Sam tells Dibiase that he knows what he did to affect the main event's outcome and declares Jack Brisco the #1 contender. To his credit, after losing the first 3 matches of the tournament, Harley Race roars back to win his final 4 matches. --Final Standings-- Ted Dibiase --10 pts-- WINNER Jack Brisco --10 pts-- Harley Race --8 pts-- Jim Londos --8 pts-- Da Crusher --6 pts-- John Tolos --6 pts-- Bruiser Brody --4 pts-- Bobo Brazil --4 pts-- |

DiBiase with the questionable tactics fo the win!! Love seeing the tourney, even if my boy, Brody, couldn't keep his temper in check enough to be in contention... but just wait, he has a LONG memory!!

Kiel Auditorium; StL ---In the opener, Sam Houston/Scott Casey over the Texas Hangmen after Casey dropped Killer w/ the BULLDOG. Afterwards, newcomers the Long Riders jumped Casey/Houston from behind and proceeded to stomp a mud hole in the duo. The Msked Killer Bees race out to make the save. ---In a heated bout, Ivan Koloff overcomes a spirited Tiger Conway Sr w/ the RUSSIAN SICKLE. ---The next bout got started early as Exotic Adrian Street jumped Brad Armstrong as Armstrong came through the curtain. However, Armstrong survived the onslaught and goes on to win w/ the RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP. An angry Street was not happy and promised retribution on the Armstrongs. --- George Tragos takes the win over John Tolos. Tolos took it to Tragos but when Trago locked in his ARMLOCK & SCISSORS finisher, that spelled the end for Tolos. ---in the main event, Ted DiBiase/Harley Race scored a DQ win over Jack Brisco/Da Crusher as a frustrated Brisco accidentally punched the referee after laying rights and lefts to Dibiase in the corner. Dibiase ran from Brisco the entire match and when a frustrated Brisco got his hands on Dibiase, he couldn't control his anger leading to the finish. This match saw excellent action when Race vs Crusher and Race vs Brisco where in the ring. |

Kiel Auditorium; StL --- Bruiser Brody makes his return to St Louis with a quick win over Ron Hutchison, winning w/ a ring-shaking Piledriver. --- Ivan Koloff takes a hard-fought win over Sam Houston w/ the RUSSIAN SICKLE. --- The Armstrongs over Adrian Adonis/Exotic Adrian Street after Bob lays Adonis out w/ the GEORGIA JAWJACKER. Afterwards, Street tosses Brad to the floor and jumps Bob from behind, giving Adonis enough time to recover. Adonis puts Bob out w/ GOODNIGHT IRENE as Street puts the boots to Brad. Finally, Street pulls out lipstick from his boot and paints Bob up like a clown. The dastardly duo retreat as Brad grabs a steel chair to run them off. ---In a heated bout, Jim Londos gets the win over Chris Tolos w/ the BOSTON CRAB. --- Main Event: World's HW Championship: Jack Brisco def. Ted DiBiase (c) by Count-Out as Dibiase retains the championship. Brisco takes it to the champ from the opening bell and nearly wins the bout w/ a Suplex Assortment followed by the ROLLING REVERSE CRADLE. DiBiase rolls out of the ring, grabs the title belt, and walks to the back; accepting the count-out loss. Brisco was not happy with the outcome as the fans let Dibiase have it as he walked to the back laughing, telling the crowd around him how he pulled a fast one on Brisco. |

Kiel Auditorium; StL ....Huge main event as The Funks are in town to face The Briscos....Dory Jr/Terry are the current International tag team champions and are in town for a one-shot deal in a non-title bout.... ---In the opener, Alexis Smirnoff puts Scott Casey away w/ the HEART PUNCH in a squash. Casey had to be helped to the back afterwards due to Smirnoff's lethal finisher. --- Masked Superstar makes his return to StL, claiming a win over Tiger Conway Sr w/ the COBRA HOLD. Sr put up a big fight but ultimately got low-blowed out of sight of the referee which led to the finish. --- Bruiser Brody gets a quick win over Boris Zhukov w/ the JUMPING KNEE DROP. Afterwards, Brody gets distracted by Gary Hart which allowed Abdullah the Butcher to jump Brody from behind. Abby carves Bruiser up like a Thanksgiving turkey with his trusty fork before a variety of wrestlers from the back pry Abby off Brody. --- Main Event: The Funks hit their stride in the early going of this bout. The Briscos fought back but the tide turned at about the 30-min mark when Jerry crashed into the turnbuckle chest/abdomen first. Dory quickly locks in an Abdominal Stretch with Terry keeping Jack at bay. Jerry (R8/P7) holds on as long as the pain allows but submits to the hold in the end. The crowd gives both teams a standing ovation for a great bout until the Funks jumps Jack from behind and nearly send him through the canvas w/ a Spike Piledriver. The crowd comes unglued as Ted DiBiase comes down to ringside and hands the Funks an envelope full of cash. Security had to escort all three men to the back as the fans pelted them with garbage. |

GREAT card... Abby - Brody is always a classic, and looks like a perfect start to their war! Funks paid off by Dibiase is freaking GOLD!!
