Kiel Auditorium; StL ....Our ring announcer informs the crowd that Jack Brisco is recovering from a neck injury sustained last week at the hands of the Funk Brothers and will be out of action for a while....This brings the Funks out who gloat over their actions and announce they decided to stay in St Louis for one more week to make an open challenge to any two wrestlers in the back....This match and the main event between Harley Race vs Bobo Brazil highlight this card.... ---We saw Abdullah the Butcher w/ Gary Hart appear last week but Abby makes his official debut this week against poor Sam Houston. Squash match where Abby blades Houston w/ his trusty fork as Hart distracts the referee. Mercifully, Abby hits the SUDANESE MEAT CLEAVER soon after to end the match. Afterwards, as Abby continues his attack at the direction of Gary Hart, Bruiser Brody races to the ring, swinging his trusty steel chain. Hart bails out and runs for the hills as Brody pummels Abby with the chain. Abby is bloody as Hart races back out with a ton of security in tow to break up the beating. ---In an excellent bout, Jerry Brisco takes the win over Jerry Lynn w/ the OKLAHOMA SIDE ROLL. ---The Funk Brothers are out to make their challenge and out walks the Masked Killer Bees! The Funks explain that this is not for their International tag-team titles but will take great pleasure in sending the Bees back to their beehive broken. The Bees make the Funks eat their words early on as they score near fall on both Funks w/ the BEE STING and KILLER DROPKICK. The Funks regain control after a referee distraction and Terry low-blowing MB#2. Quick tag to Dory Jr as he locks in the SPINNING TOE HOLD on MB#2 to get the win. Afterwards, Jerry Brisco comes out and makes a challenge to th Funks for next week, saying he has the perfect Funk nemesis to be his partner. The Funks initially decline but are shocked when David Von Erich walks out from the back as the fans blow the roof off of the Kiel. The Funks continue to decline the match until Brisco & DVE hit the ring and come out on top of a wild brawl. An irate Terry Funk accepts the challenge for next week as they storm to the back. ---As wild as the last segment was, the main event was a pure wrestling classic as Harley Race battled Bobo Brazil for almost 35-minutes. Harley had to kick out of the COCO-BUTT several times to keep the match going and eventually wore Bobo down enough to lift him up for the PILEDRIVER to earn the win. The crowd gives the duo a standing ovation as Harley keeps himself in contention for a future World title shot. ....Next Week.... The main event will feature Ted Dibiase defending the World's HW Championship against challenger, Da Crusher. Also, Jerry Brisco/David Von Erich will battle the Funk Brothers in a grudge match. |

Kiel Auditorium ....Our ring announcer announces that a special 'super' card will be held in two weeks at card #15....The World's title will be defended as Harley Race has been named the #1 contender plus seven other matches yet to be announced.... --- Tiger Conway Jr calls out Masked Superstar for the heelish tactics used by Superstar in a match against his father a couple of weeks ago. Superstar comes to the ring and a brawl breaks out between the two as we get a referee for our opening bout. Masked Superstar puts Tiger Conway Jr away w/ the COBRA HOLD in an entertaining back and forth match. It appeared that Superstar 'loaded' his mask and delivered a vicious Head Butt prior to locking in his finisher. Tiger Conway Sr raced out to prevent any further damage as he threw out a challenge to Superstar for a tag-team match at the super card. --- Ivan Koloff over George Tragos w/ the RUSSIAN SICKLE. Koloff keeps up the attack on Tragos as Tragos tag-tram partner Jim Londos is out of town this week. Finally, a big roar from the crowd as The Patriot runs down to stop the beating and helps Tragos to the back. ....Andre the Giant is introduced to very loud cheers from the crowd....Andre will be in action at the super card as he will compete in a 2-on-1 Handicap match.... --- David Von Erich/Jerry Brisco over The Funks in non-title action as DVE forces Terry Funk to submit to DVE's version of a Spinning Toehold. Jerry kept the fan favorites in the match as he survived a beating from The Funks. A hot tag to DVE spelled the end of The Funks in this match. Afterwards, the ring announcer stated that the Funks would indeed defend their International tag titles against DVE/Jerry Brisco in two weeks at the super card! --- World's HW Championship: Ted Dibiase retains over Da Crusher, loading up his LOADED GLOVE behind the referee's back to get the win. Afterwards, Harley Race goes nose-to-nose with DiBiase to end the show. |

Kiel Auditorium; StL ....Masked Superstar comes out and formally accepts the Conways challenge....in fact, his tag team partner is here tonight and will show their opponents what they are in for at Clash of Legends next week.... ---Masked Superstar stays at ringside for the opener as The Spoiler makes short work of Scott Casey, winning w/ the BIONIC CLAW. --- The Patriot takes a DQ win over Boris Zhukov as Ivan Koloff jumps the masked hero from behind. The Russian duo do a number on Patriot as Ivan whips him with his chains until a host of wrestlers run out from the back to make the save. --- Adrian Adonis over Brad Armstrong w/ GOODNIGHT IRENE. Bullet Bob was quick to the ring to ensure no other shenanigans happened Bob throws out a challenge to Adonis/Adrian street for CoL....A Powder Puff vs Hair match....If Adonis/Street win, the Armstrongs will allow them to 'fancy' them up with make up....But if they win, it will cost either Adonis or Street their hair.... ----In the main event, The Funks/Ted Dibiase take the win over Harley Race/David Von Erich/Jerry Brisco after Teddy caught Harley w/ the LOADED GLOVE. |

SLWC #15 presents 'Clash Of Legends'
Kiel Auditorium; StL
Part One --- Andre The Giant gets a standing ovation as he's introduced for his Handicap Match against 'Wild' Bill White/Frank Dalton in the opener. White/Dalton charge Andre and attempt a double suplex but Andre just shrugs them off. White charges at Andre but eats a huge Big Boot to the Face. Andre crushes Dalton with a ring-shaking Body Slam and tosses him to the floor. Andre squashes White w/ the BIG SPLASH to get the win in under 2-minutes. ---Excellent tag-team encounter that sees Masked Superstar/The Spoiler take a controversial win over The Conways after Superstar forced Tiger Sr to pass out in the COBRA HOLD. Late in the match, The Conways were well on their way to victory when Superstar distracted the referee long enough for Spoiler to deliver a 'loaded' headbutt to Tiger Sr. This allowed Superstar to lock in his finisher for the win. --- The Patriot takes a beating from Ivan Koloff but catches his Soviet foe with a Cross Body from the top rope to take the win. ---Wild encounter between Bruiser Brody vs Abdullah the Butcher leads to a quick DDQ but the two behemoths continue fighting way past the bell. The two fight into the crowd around ringside as they bash each other with steel chairs. Abby uses his trusty fork to carve Brody up but Bruiser responds by pummeling Abby with his steel chains. One of the chain shots flips a very bloody Abdullah back over the security railing; giving the hordes of security that has poured into the ringside area time to separate the two. Gary Hart 'slow hustles' Abby to the back but tells Brody over the house mike that this is far from over. ....We will take an intermission to clean up the mess left by the brawl....So go get yourself a cold one from the concession stand....The show will continue.... |

I was watching Brody swing that chain around during one of his entrances in All-Japan from the 80s. |

....And we are back from intermission.... --- Powder Puff vs Hair: A local barber was introduced to the crowd before the match as he flashed his clippers to the roar of the crowd. Ms Linda showed off the prom dresses and a large make-up case to a huge jeer from the crowd. This one broke down into a huge brawl but The Armstrongs prevailed over Adrian Adonis/Exotic Adrian Street after Brad Armstrong put Exotic Adrian Street down w/ the RUSSIAN LEG SWEEP. Afterwards, The Armstrongs held Street so that he couldn't run away as the barber set up his chair. Adrian Adonis made a move to try and help his partner but that was thwarted as Brad grabbed the clippers and threatened to buzz Adonis. Ms Linda begged to take Street's place but was removed from the chair by security. Street started to fight back but quickly went out as Bob Armstrong applied a Sleeper on his foe. Ms Linda ran to Adrian Adonis and begged for him to help Street but he quickly retreated as he did not want to lose his locks. Finally, Adrian Street was placed in the chair and the Armstrongs buzzed him down to his scalp. Bob 'woke' Street up and Street soon realized he was bald as he sprinted to the back to a loud cheer of the crowd. --- Loser Leaves Town: Jim Londos over John Tolos as he explodes from the corner and catches Tolos with a huge Running Lariat. With that, John Tolos leaves St Louis for Los Angeles and Londos earns the next title shot. --- NWA International Tag-Team Championship: The Funks (c) retain over David Von Erich/Jerry Brisco after Terry Funk plants Brisco w/ a Piledriver. The Funks leave St Louis with their title reign intact as DVE promises to chase the Funks all over Texas to win those belts. --- Main Event: World's HW Championship: Harley Race over Ted Dibiase (c) w/ the VERTICAL SUPLEX to win the title!! The two went at each other and looked like DiBiase was going to pull it out with the Funks in his corner. However, David Von Erich, Jerry Brisco, and the Crusher quickly chased them away from ringside. The Crusher would prevent Dibiase from using his LOADED GLOVE by pulling the glove off Teddy's hand! Back in the ring, Harley hit his patented Back Suplex from the middle rope and followed w/ the VERTICAL SUPLEX to seal the deal. The crowd roared as Harley was handed the belt and the hero locker room emptied to congratulate the new champion. |

Just catching up with this now, and to no surprise just top notch action here from top to bottom....Londos vs the new champ Race is going to be outstanding! and something tells me DiBiase is not going away either

Kiel Auditorium; StL ---In the opener, the Spoiler makes his singles debut with a win over Sam Houston, winning w/ a Rope-Walk Smash. --- Bob Armstrong takes the win over Adrian Adonis w/ the GEORGIA JAWJACKER. However, the real action was after the match as a masked Exotic Adrian Street attacked Adonis with a steel chair before security could intervene. ---In a highly anticipated middleweight match, Dynamite Kid over Jerry Brisco, winning w/ a Superplex. Great bout!! ---In the main event, Jim Londos/George Tragos take a DQ win over Harley Race/The Crusher after Crusher loses his cool and refuses to stop laying hard rights and lefts to Londos in the corner. Crusher kept up the beatdown after the bell until Harley was able to pull him off of Londos. Crusher got booed some as he walked to the back w/ Harley as Londos stared Crusher down from the ring. |

Kiel Auditorium; StL ---In the opener, Sam Houston survives being posted by Frank Dalton and goes on to win w/ the BULLDOG. --- Masked Superstar takes down Tiger Conway Jr w/ the SWINGING NECKBREAKER. Superstar declares he's done with the Conways and wants better competition. --- The Patriot survived a beating from Alexis Smirnoff and Atomic Dropped Smirnoff into Boris Zhukov to pick up the win. Afterwards, Ivan Koloff jumped Patriot from behind before the locker room cleared out to run The Soviets away from ringside. ---In the main event all hell broke loose between Bruiser Brody/Bobo Brazil vs Abdullah The Butcher/Killer Kowalski!!! They brawled around ringside and nailed each other with everything not nailed down. All four men were a bloody mess! Gary Hart got involved supplying Abby with as many 'trusty forks' as he needed. Gary also broke up a Brody pin attempt on Kowalski. The finish came as Abby dropped the SUDANESE MEAT CLEAVER onto Bobo from the ring apron as Bobo was prone on the arena floor!! The action continued after the bell as Brody cleared the ring by swinging his chain causing Hart to 'hustle' his charges to the back. |
