A local underground legend here in Mn. He hosted a show called "Saturday Night at Ringside" from the late 80s to mid 90s that was a staple of my formative Wrestling fandom.
I'm his own youth, he founded and ran "the Bockwinkel Brigade" in the 70s, somewhat unheard for a heel. That relationship blossomed into a life long friendship I'm which Mick never runs out of stories...
Due to circumstances, he missed out on the "big time",as when the oprotunity arrived he wasn't in a posting to take advantage of it (this is just a hypothesis from the subtle things he's mentioned). But their loss was our gain, as he became a staple here in the local indy scene all the way until last year, when he announced that he was stepping back.
In my experience, very few have given so much to the business and asked so little in return. Always giving. Mick Karch and his contributions to me are unsung.
I've pushed a tiny bit here and there to try to get him an indy card. I'm trying again here.
I'm a Mick Mark for sure....

Well, we just may have to see if we can fix his lack of card situation!

He was receptive to it, I just need to follow up with him.
