THC TRIOS CHALLENGE: DAY 1The announcer explains: "For the Trios Challenge Title, 2 battlin' brawlers will be randomly teamed with a random high flyer. And over the next 2 cards, they will compete in a single elimination tourney. First round will be tonight and the rest of the tourney will take place on next weeks card."
Round 1:Buzz Sawyer, Jim Duggan and Jim Londos def George Steele, Meng and Billy Kidman by DQ: George Steele couldn't keep his temper in check and was dq'd for his team for introducing a chair to Duggan's head.
Stan Stasiak, Wayne Munn and Jushin Liger def Scott Norton, Perro Aguayo and Delirious. Liger hits the Liger bomb on Delirious as the other 4 men were brawling outside the ring.
Cactus Jack, The Mauler and Mistico def La Parka, Rufus R Jones and Atlantis by CO. Seemed a bit of communication issues between Jones and his team made this one a bit lopsided as Jack hit a flying elbow drop through the table on Jones for the CO win. Jones and La Parka seemed to have some tension after the match.
Pampero Firpo, Nord the Barbarian and El Hilo del Santo def Dick Raines, Dick Slater and Dr. Wagner Jr. Probably the best match of the night as these 6 men left it all in the ring. A series of back and forth momentum swings and several timely pin saves kept fans on the edge of their seats. In the end, Wagner's head cold not sustain the series of boots from Nord as he got the pin for his team.

THC TRIOS CHALLENGE: DAY 2The announcer explains: "We have the exciting conclusion to the THC Trios Challenge Title tonight. The 4 remaining teams will battle it down to just one and the titles will be awarded along with a $10,000 check to the winning team."
Round 2: Buzz Sawyer, Jim Duggan and Jim Londos def Stan Stasiak, Wayne Munn and Jushin Liger: Buzz Sawyer and Wayne Munn seemed to have some sort of beef as they were continually jaw-jacking and getting in each other's grills. This bit of heat cost Munn's team in the long run as it allowed Liger to sneak in a lightening quick roll-up late in the match while Munn was yelling at Sawyer on the outside. Afterwards, security had to keep the 2 teams separated.
Pampero Firpo, Nord the Barbarian and El Hijo del Santo def Cactus Jack, The Mauler and Mistico: The Mauler simply couldn't get out of the ring as he started and finished the match. The other 3 men seemed to enjoy taking turns beating him down. An early hidden shot with a chain from Nord and the Mauler never got back in it, leading to El Garfio by Firpo for the win.
The announcement was made that next week Buzz Sawyer and La Parka would battle Rufus R Jones and Wayne Munn.
Pampero Firpo, Nord the Barbarian and El Hijo del Santo def Buzz Sawyer, Jim Duggan and Jim Londos by C.O.: A great brawl and match gets marred by a controversial finish. All 6 men were out for a chunk of the 10k prize and let it all hang out to get there. A wild series of 6 man brawls, timely tags and ridiculous tag saves left the fans in a frenzy. Unfortunately in the end, Sawyer's temper and unpredictability got the better of his team as Wayne Munn came down to ringside, and once Sawyer saw him, he sped down the ramp and attacked, leaving the referee no choice but to make the 10 count and award the titles and the check to Firpo, Nord and Santo...
"YOUR WINNERS and FIRST THC TRIOS CHALLENGE TITLE HOLDERS... PAMPERO FIRPO!!! NORD THE BARBARIAN!!! AND EL HIJO DEL SANTO!!!"

THC PRESENTS: RATTLER ROUNDUPThe announcer explains: "We have an all-star lineup for you tonight, as the new champs defend their freshly won titles! We also have a great grudge tag team match in our main event. Now let's get to our preliminary bouts!!"
The Highwaymen (Raines, Slater and Wagner)def Cactus Jack, The Mauler and Mistico. The Trio of the Highwaymen seemed to have found a pretty good niche together as they made fairly short work of their opponents. The Mauler seemed hesitant to enter the match at all and this made for some missed tag opportunities which had his partners getting frustrated. Finally, Mistico slapped the Mauler on a blind tag and Jack threw him in the ring to a waiting Slater piledriver and pin. After the match, Jack and Mistico were joined by Perro Aguayo to lay a beating on the Mauler and inform him he was "no longer needed for this threesome".
Scott Norton def Stan Stasiak. These 2 bulls met in the slobberknockin' donnybrook the fans were hoping for. The frenzied ringsiders wanted violence and this match supplied it in spades. A great back and forth brawl full of hard hitting offense ended when Stasiak inexplicably went to the top rope and missed a body press. Norton dropped him with a Jurassic Shoulder Breaker for the 1...2...3.
Jushin 'Thunder' Liger def Delirious by C.O. An absolutely breathtaking aerial display of wrestling ended with a bit of a fright as Liger landed an amazing reverse corkscrew plancha to the outside of the ring. Delirious went down hard and stayed down. Initially after the 10-count, the ringside medical crew was summoned and their seemed to be some concern about Delirious' neck. However after several frightening minutes, Delirious got slowly back to his feet to the cheers of the crowd and was able to make it back to the dressing room with assistance, but on his own feet.
Buzz Sawyer and La Parka battle to a DDQ with Rufus R Jones and Wayne Munn. It would seem these 4 men simply do NOT like each other. This match started wild with Sawyer attacking Jones before the bell with his chain and never returned to any semblance of an actual athletic competition. Double teaming in and out of the ring and 4 man brawls were the basic fare of this match. In the end the beleaguered referee called for the bell when the 4 men went to the floor for the 7th time and started swinging chairs (again).
It was announced after the dust settled those 4 men would be back next week to try and settle their differences.
THC TRIOS CHALLENGE TITLE MATCH: Pampero Firpo, Nord the Barbarian and El Hijo Del Santo def George Steele, Meng and Billy Kidman. A rather anti-climactic affair after the last match. The champs got Steele isolated after some initial back and forth action and were able to wear him down to the point that a top-rope body press by Santo after the blind tag from Nord was all that was needed to secure the win.
YOUR WINNERS AND STILLLLLL THC TRIOS CHALLENGE CHAMPIONS: NORD THE BARBARIAN, EL HIJO DEL SANTO AND PAMPERO FIRPO!!!

THC PRESENTS: RATTLER ROUNDUP #2The announcer explains: "We have a #1 contender's match for the THC Trios Challenge Titles, A grudge tag rematch and a 6 man elimination match for the THC Cosmic Warfare Title! The Cosmic Warfare Title is a brand new belt to showcase "them fancified and high steppin' light heavyweight guys" though anyone can compete, if they are willing to challenge EVERY time in a Ladder Match!!"
6 Man, Cosmic Warfare Title Match: Delirious, El Hijo Del Santo, Billy Kidman, Jim Londos, Atlantis and Jushin Liger are all introduced to start this match. 5 of the 6 looked completely at home, while Londos seemed a bit daunted and frustrated at the style of wrestling taking place. As the 5 high-flyers took turns scaling the ladder, knocking each other from the top and crashing down upon each other with insanely wicked deathjumps, Londos seemed to reach a boiling point. He went under the ring and came back with a black duffel bag. As Delirious rolled out of the ring, a victim of a topple from the top of a ladder, Londos grabbed him, pulled something out of the bag... and handcuffed him to the guardrail!! One by one, Londos picked off the other competitors, even resorting to a wicked head posting on Liger to round out the side. London then slowly and steadily (and shakily) ascended one of the Ladders and unhooked the belt. "Your winner and FIRST COSMIC WARFARE CHAMPION... JIM LONDOOOOOOS!!!"
Londos was joined in the ring by Jim Duggan and The Mauler (sporting a slightly darker and more angry look) and announced that a "New Era" had dawned here in THC... and the Trios Challenge Titles were next!!
(Kayfabe: To use the "Londos Method" in a ladder match, it requires him (or anyone) gaining the upper hand outside the ring in a "match" setting and scoring a PIN option or an "Add 1" option (successful or not, though you can adjust that for yourself as needed)
#1 Contender's Match: The Highwaymen (Raines, Slater, Wagner) battle to a double DQ with Cactus Jack, Perro Aguayo and Mistico. These 6 men seemed to truly enjoy b eating the holy Crap out of each other and did NOT appear overly concerned with the missed Title shot that neither team would now receive. All 6 men battled and brawled in a seeming effort to get their team the DQ, though in the end it was Raines and Mistico who were able to accomplish the goal on the outside of the ring during a brawl into the crowd. Security and a large cross section of other wrestlers were needed to separate and control these 6 Wild Mustangs. Something was overheard about a potential "Triple Bullrope Match" for next week?? Stay tuned!!
No-DQ Grudge Match: Rufus R Jones and Wayne Munn def Buzz Sawyer and La Parka by Pin after Jones is able to fire off a series of headbutts on the Chairman after Munn cracked him upside the head with Sawyer's chain! This match got the Texas crowd fired up and excited, but ultimately probably solved nothing except heating this feud up. All 4 men were bloody messes by the end of the match, with Sawyer "winning" that particular competition thanks to a nasty chairshot from Munn about 7 minutes into the match that left the Maddog with a 4" gash in his forehead that quickly set the tone and flavor of the match. With No disqualifications on the line, these 4 just simply beat the ever loving hell out of each other. In the end, the referee was tied up with Sawyer, allowing Munn to nail La Parka in the head with the chain, with Jones following it up with 3 headbutts to get the win.

THC PRESENTS: RATTLER ROUNDUP #3The announcer explains: "We have ourselves a rematch for the #1 Contenders for the THC Trios Challenge Titles, in a Triple Bullrope Match!! Also a special interview with our new Cosmic Warfare Champion Jim Londos and a 3rd attempt to settle some problems between the Buzz Sawyer and La Parka team and the Wayne Munn and Rufus Jones team... In A Cage!!! And now to the opener..."
Scott Norton, Stan Stasiak and Delirious def George Steele, Meng and Billy Kidman by DQ: George Steele's antics (or the Texas Referee's apparent lack of tolerance when it comes to Steele's antics) again cost his team. A series of great back and forth action and tags ended on the outside with Steele caught with a foreign object in his fist for a series of punches to Stasiak. The team of Steele, Meng and Kidman expressed their displeasure in the decision with a triple piledriver on the referee before the assault could be broken up. The referee was taken out on a stretcher and loaded into an ambulance.
Jim Londos (flanked by Duggan and the Mauler) came to the ring and explained that as Cosmic Warfare Champion, he would be afforded certain rights and privileges, as would his 2 associates, or he would be taking HIS Title and the 3 of them would be seeking gainful employment elsewhere. He made a list of demands (from first class travel accommodations and a private dressing room to private catering and masseuses. Duggan and the Mauler just kept nodding as Londos prattled on... til the lights went out for about 30 seconds. When the lights returned, Londos was trussed and gagged like a calf roping loser and Duggan and the Mauler were missing. A distorted voice from the heavens (or the PA) simply said... "Soon, Jimmy, soon..." as security rushed to untie Londos and the search for his Hitmen began...
#1 Contender's Triple Bullrope Match: The Highwaymen (Raines, Slater and Wagner) def Cactus Jack, Perro Aguayo and Mistico in a devious turn of events. Slater and Wagner came to ringside w/o Raines, claiming he was "nowhere to be found" and demanded a 2 on 2 match. The referee (after careful consideration for at least 4-5 seconds) said no way and called for a 2 on 3 handicap match. Slater was roped to both Mistico AND Cactus, while Wagner and Aguayo were roped. Obviously this didn't start well for the Highwaymen Lite and it looked like it would be a short match... and it was, after Raines came up from below the ring and Slater dived over the top rope, effectively eliminating 1 arm each from Mistico and Cactus. 1 arm doesn't leave a lot of great defense from a chair swinging psycho and with Aguayo literally tied up with Wagner outside the ring, a few chair shots was all that was needed for Slater to get the pin. Afterwards, the beatdown continued for several minutes before security could chase off the Highwaymen and get the bloodied and beaten losers stretchered to the back.
Cage Match: Buzz Sawyer and La Parka def Wayne Munn and Rufus R Jones in an absolute 5 star classic! Back and forth brawling, double teaming and blood, so much blood!!! These 4 men used the cage like a 3rd member of each team and just tried to generally maim each other. Almost 25 minutes of absolute wicked mayhem (17 combined PIN tokens) concluded when La Parka and Sawyer got Munn Tied up in the ropes with Sawyer's chain and were advancing on Jones with Parka's chair. From the back, Atlantis flew down to ringside, scaled the cage and grabbed the chair, holding both men at bay. Jones, looking quite relieved, placed his hand on Atlantis's shoulder... And got his head almost taken off with a Raven-worthy headshot. Atlantis celebrated with Parka and Sawyer as Munn finally got free and dragged his partner out of the ring and into the waiting hands of the ringside doctors, who called for another stretcher.
