So, I am finally going to start my GWF again. With the rereleases of the original sets in color, I will be starting up again for the first time in 20+ years. I waited and got the first 2 sets simultaneously, so that will be my launching point. Uncertain where I will go or how things will progress, but should be fun regardless. I have my first card booked and am hoping to get it played out while I am still off work recuperating (I head in tomorrow to find out how soon i will get to return to work!). It might take a bit longer to get it posted, but sooner or later, my GWF cannon will be found right here.

GWF REBOOT
CARD #1 Genghis Khan v Pulsar: Ghengis Khan def Pulsar with a Twin Thrust following a missed death jump by the high-flying Pulsar. Spaltter and Mutant came down to join the attack, but the other Titans arrived to save Pulsar. Mutant v Pit Viper: Pit Viper attacked early and looked to have the match well in hand, but seemed to lose his focus outside the ring, tossing the ref aside who was trying to get him back in the ring. Although he lost by DQ, Pit Viper left Mutant laid out. Omega v Creeper: A rather one-sided rout as Omega needed just 4 moves to pin Creeper with the Tomahawk Thrust. Star Warrior v Death Knight: In a HUGE upset, Death Knight somehow narrowly avoided a turnbuckle charge from an extremely dominant Star Warrior and got the shock 3 count. Bishop Hell v Beast Rider: The first victim! Hellfire strikes and Beast Rider is down for the count. Emergency staff immediately tended to the fallen Neptunian. Cosmic Cage: Wolfv Spike: An absolute bloodbath classic! A combined 11 (yes, ELEVEN) tokens saw both combatants brutalized and bloody. The 3rd Savage Face Claw was the difference maker as Wolf was able to stagger out of the cage, getting the win (and getting jumped by the Gladiators afterwards. Interplanetary Title: Krakan (ch) v Adam Blast: The Champ was on the ropes a surprising amount of this match-up and finally grabbed his belt and headed for the back, taking the "L", but keeping the belt. #1 Contender's Match: The Norse Gods v The Greek Gods: The Greek pantheon proved the better on this night, securing the win with a Grecian Sleeper Grip on Lightning. GWF Tag Title Match: The Gladiators (ch) v Vanity and Killer Queen: The Gladiators simply steamrolled Vanity and the Queen with the Decapitator. Non Title: GWF Universal Champion, Thantos v Massiff: Thantos proved his underhanded prowess and Executioner proved his loyalty as a "knee injury" by Thantos distracted the referee and Massiff. The chair shot to the back of the head of Massiff by the Executionner actually mostly just angered the big man and got the hooded lackey destroyed, but Thantos was waiting to hit the Satanic Skull Crusher and followed up with the Masterlock in the middle of the ring, leaving the Giant no choice but to give up.

GWF REBOOT
CARD #2 Splatter/Mutant/Ghengis Khan v Pit Viper/Pulsar/Billy Jo Boxer: The Titan tandem just didn't seem to jibe well on this occasion, with poor Pulsar getting trapped in the ring for almost the entire match before Splatter Introduced him to Arsenal out of the referee's view, allowing Khan to pick up the 3 count. The 2 teams still needed to be separated by security after the match was ended. Renegade v Bishop Hell: Bishop Hell needed no fire this time to quell the challenge of Renegade, who started strong before missing a turnbuckle charge to put the control (and outcome) of the match in the good Bishop's hands. Spike v Reptillo: Spike simply destroyed Reptillo in 3 moves, leaving the poor Ani-man laying in the ring. Wolf v Duke of Destruction: The Duke preened and bragged coming into this one. Wolf simply beat him down for several minutes before ending his night with the Savage Face Claw. No DQ: Bomb Squad v The Henchmen: This match quickly degenerated into an uncontrollable brawl throughout the crowd, the concessions stand, even into the locker rooms. Once it migrated to the back, there were simply too many other wrestlers involved and the referee through out the entire match. It is rumored there will be a rematch with some stipulations that will keep this from getting so out of control. Non-Title: Gladiators v The Greek Gods: The Gladiators had a slight advantage for a decent portion of the match, but on the 4th trip outside the ring, the giant headbangers simply couldn't help themselves and were DQ'd for their tactics. Star Warrior v Death Knight: Apparently still VERY upset over his previous loss, Star Warrior lost his cool AND the match after throwing Death Knight into the post a 3rd time, despite the warnings of the referee. Non-Title: Thantos v Mesmer: A 5 star offering from 2 of the GWF's finest ended when Thantos was able to lock in the Masterlock for the 3rd time and it was the charm as Mesmer had used every magic trick to escape the first 2 times, finally tapping in defeat. Thantos seemed impressed or surprised by the performance Mesmer had put in, even calling off his goons who had approached the ring and looked to be thinking about jumping the Master of the Occult.
