First up, The Latin Heartthrob has invaded the LOW!! Al Perez is a multi-time regional singles and tag team champion, also winning at least 1 version of a World Title. A world traveler, this talented superstar has garnered attention and accolades wherever he has landed. He now looks to leave his mark on the ranks of the LOW as well. With faces such as Steve Williams, Ted DiBiase and Terry Gordy, Perez has a natural bounty of pre-made alliances and feuds just awaiting him and he plans to prove to the world he is every bit the talent he has always been touted as. SPINNING TOEHOLD: Perez uses the classic version of this painful submission maneuver to rack up the wins. Ali-Copter: A helicopter spin and slam that leaves opponents stunned and primed for a Spinning Toehold. (Kayfabe note: There are 2 versions here, a WCCW based version designed to be used with the fantastic WCCW set that whlineup released. the other is a career retrospective card designed to use with LOW, but as always use whichever you prefer.) From the Punjab region of India, this student of pehlwani became an icon to the Indian people. An undefeated streak lasting years, Dara Singh became a household name of Indian pride and hope through his prowess in the wrestling ring and later on the Silver Bollywood Screen. He has had amazing matches and rivalries with such LOW luminaries as Rikidozan and Lou Thesz. And with the recent arrival of The Great Gama, could there be an alliance in the works? Or a heated rivalry... INDIAN DEATH LOCK: Singh uses a picture perfect version of this classic to get the submission. AEROPLANE SPIN: A fast version of the airplane spin, ending with a hard slam to the mat often leads to a victory. Dara Singh would often (years before the popularity that is sweeping wrestling in the 2000's) get into a huge battle of forearm smashes with his opponent, usually leading to the the opponent or Singh ending up outside the ring. If the opponent rolls a reversal when Singh hits the forearm smash, they will exchange forearms until one or the other falls from the ring. The opponent rolling on the out of the ring chart at a disadvantage, Singh rolling at an advantage. drive.google.com/open?id=1Gv9n3Kfx8XqLqp01eqN-CZJlW-iN2oSh

From afar and abroad comes a bit of new devastation for the LOW. Skull Murphy and Brute Bernard are accomplished singles wrestlers in their own rights (Bernard was a Brass Knucks type champion around the world, from Texas to Australia and Murphy bagged a version of the World Championship on 3 occasions) but their true mark was in the Tag Team realms. Although both men captured Tag Team Championships with other partners (Murphy in fact captured gold with LOW mainstays Killer Kowalski and Toru Tanaka), it was as a team together they were at their most dangerous and most dominant. Holding Championship gold together on at least 8 occasions (including multiple reigns with at least 2 versions of the World Tag Title), Murphy and Bernard blazed a swath of destruction that took them all around the world. If these 2 monsters can avoid getting dq'd, they just might upset the upper echelon and take home some gold. ** NOTE: These 2 are pretty straightforward Monster/Brawler types without a lot of fancy tag team moves. They do however know how to cut off the ring and prevent their opponents from making defensive tags. Subtract 1 from the opponents rolls for making tags on defense. HEART PUNCH: Murphy used a classic version of this deadly move, injuring many an opponent. If he wins the match with it, roll 2 dice, on a roll of doubles, the opponent is injured for 1-6 cards. BACKBREAKER RACK: Bernard used an early version of this move, loving the punishment as he tried for the submission victory.
