Without further ado, these 2 men have come to tear down the LOW house!! Their matches in a certain Japanese federation during the mid-90's were the gold standard for that era. Now, the time has come for them to burst onto the scene for the LOW as well.
Mitsuharu Misawa is a true legend in every since of the word. Beginning his career as a masked hi-flyer and honing his craft to become perhaps THE greatest wrestler of the 90's, Misawa brought a stiff style back to the forefront of puroresu and arguably changed the face of wrestling moving forward. A multi-time champion, including several versions of the world title (one of which he defeated recent arrival Stan Hansen for), Misawa was adept at tag team wrestling as well as singles. Will he join with his mentors, the Destroyer and Giant Baba, or seek to establish his own name at their expense? And more importantly, will he reform a team (that holds victories over the Miracle Violence Connection) or renew a heated rivalry with...
Toshiaki Kawada is a legend whose career parallels and mirrors so much of his friend and rival, Misawa. Capturing multiple tag (9) and singles (5) World titles, he is also the recipient of 19 5-star matches (15 of which were involving Misawa!) from a time when su ch things actually held merit! Dangerous K is hoping to make headlines again with Misawa and may have a thing or 2 to work out with his trainer and mentor, Giant Baba. With ties to a bevy of current LOW stars, including Miracle Violence Connection, Stan Hansen, Vader, Jumbo Tsuruta and others, Kawada will have no shortage of ready built rivalries, but the one we are all waiting to see unfold in our very own LOW, is with Misawa!!
MITSUARU MISAWA:
drive.google.com/file/d/1Jm2hfV-HLvWIVHZtNliaaAIaU1ywZEIx/view?usp=sharingMisawa has at his disposal a large selection of finishers that he innovated, as well as one of the best Rolling Elbow's in the business to set things up. When Misawa rolls his 'TIGER STRIKE' chart, Roll 1 die.
(1-2) TIGER DRIVER (+1): A sitout double underhook powerbomb leaves the opponent primed for a loss
(3-4) TIGER DRIVER '91 (+2): A kneeling double underhook powerbomb is the evolution of this move as Misawa seeks ever increasing methods to put away his opponent.
(5) EMERALD FLOWSION (+3): A sitout side powerslam, sometimes Misawa would opt for a second rope variation.
(6) EMERALD FLOWSION KAI (+4): A vertical suplex sitout side powerslam. You really jut need to look it up if you haven't seen it, no words do it justice.
TOSHIAKI KAWADA:
drive.google.com/file/d/1CYioxH_C2XgVFcfrv-H03GQKhDH1DCX0/view?usp=sharingIkari no K: A stiff soccer kick to the head of a seated opponent.
Stretch Plum: Perhaps the best non-technical description i have seen of this move is Abdominal Stretch meets Dragon sleeper, kinda.
Kawada Crab: A single leg Boston crab, usually while standing on the opponents head.
Kawada Driver: Generally a Ganso Bomb (standard release powerbomb) though at times his kneeling piledriver would be called this as well. It's up to you promoter!
Kawada is also blessed with a plethora of options for finishing an opponent. When you roll the 'DANGEROUS K' chart, roll 2 dice.
(2-5): DANGEROUS KICK (+1): A stiff running roundhouse kick to the face of a seated opponent.
(6-10): HIGH ANGLE POWERBOMB (+2): Also called a folding powerbomb, Kawada brings his opponent up HIGH and carries through as he drives them to the mat, folding them in half and staying on top for the chance at a pin.
(11-12): DANGEROUS DDT (+3): A vertical drop brainbuster, usually held for a few second in the up position and then snap-dropped onto the opponents head.
I truly hope you all enjoy these 2 as much as i enjoyed making them...
