- Christian spends the entire match laughing at Honky Tonk’s outfit. Rich points out that Honky would probably kick Christian’s ass.
Match #5 Ric Flair and Dutch Savage defeated Roman Reigns and Tyler Black in 6:34 when Flair pinned Reigns using the ropes.

- Christian and Rich agree that it’s surprising to see Flair and Dutch Savage work so well together.
- Flair spent most of his time in the ring working on Reign’s knee. As a result Roman suffered a minor injury and will wrestle hurt for about 3 cards.
Match #6 Willie Mack defeated Ted Dibiase in 11:16 with CHOCOLATE THUNDER BOMB.

Backstage: Ivan Koloff is telling anyone who will listen that he’ll crush the “All American Boy” Bob Backlund tonight. Sam Muchnick overhears him and suggests making it a little more interesting. I know your nephew Nikita is here to learn from you tonight. Why don’t we make this a tag match. You and Nikita vs Backlund and whoever he chooses? Koloff laughs and agrees.

Backstage: Taz has just jumped Orange Cassidy in the locker room! He’s yelling “Survive….If I let you!!!!” while ramming Cassidy’s head repeatedly into the lockers. Officials are trying in vain to pull him off. Finally, as Cassidy is lying on motionless on the floor, Taz just walks away.
